Hello,

I did well last month. Even with Super Bowl, and the in laws in town. But this month will be really a challenge. I have a 8-day cruise coming up. If I can maintain during that week, it will be a miracle.

Patti: We are going to Grand Turks, St. Marteen, San Juan, and St. Kitts. I am very much looking for some fun, but we will see what kind of "damage" I will do to myself when I come back. Haha.

3/22: I am doing well so far, but next week it will be a different story. A girl has to live a little. Let's the fun begin. Spring Break.

4/3 - As I though, I did not reach my goal, but it was not bad. I gained some water weight, and back to 185.5 in two days.

Hi Again everyone! This has been a very unusual month, and I've been offline the last 2 weeks. It looks like everyone is doing great, although I still want to read the posts better!!

First off, I had a Sports Med appt to address some concerns with my hip and knees---Great Doc--some Answers, and a Path forward. Unfortunately, that has meant a drastic reduction in my normal exercise and adding in a lot of time down on the floor doing different phys ther exercises.... I seem to be healing though--WooHoo! 3 Days later, we had something like Norovirus hit us...and took us both out for a week! This past week we've enjoyed stretch of really nice weather, so its been time to catch up in the garden and yard for spring.

The Net Effect has been I've lost weight...and kept it off. I think some of it is water weight from the swelling I was having with my overuse injuries... Norovirus kept me from eating for about 4 days---not an advisable means of weight loss! And being busy outside has definitely cut off my winter snacking habit!!

Hello, everyone! I would like to join in too. My doctor has advised me to lose some weight as my cholesterol is a little high. My goals are to really cut down on butter and cheese, and to not snack on bread and cereal in the evening. I hope to get down to 130 eventually.

Started Tues. Feb 26 - 158.1
Tues. Mar. 5 - 157.2
Tues. Mar. 12 - 156.2

So far, so good!

Hi everyone... I didn't reach me good last month. I need help... It's sooo heard to stay motivated. I do good then I get there cravings and everything falls apart. Any suggestions?

Welcome along MIMORR and HONEYFLCN Im feeling positive that we can keep each other inspired...

Your cruise plans sound wonderful; and maintaining sounds reasonable. If there's enough activities, and you enjoy the healthier choices... you might even be surprised! Above all---just enjoy it---its certainly not one of those every month experiences!! can I ask where you are off to? emoticon

Midweek is staying down a bit. At this point "a bit" is about all that I can keep happening.... so I will take it!! I've really noticed the increase in sunlight, and having that extra energy and drive to want to go play in my (frozen still) garden... So SPRING is close, and with it, less time in my house around those extra calories I dont' need---along with some extra movement--it adds together nicely, and I usually lose in SPring time. how about you??

This is a very informal group...and you are welcome to join in at any time. Set your personal challenge goals, develop a plan that has two or three elements you are going to focus on.... and let's "Spring" into action!! Set your own rules in this group... post when and how often you want; use a format that makes the best sense to you.
