I find that the practice on cravings and hunger really helped me see the difference and how I can better manage through those moments.

I liked the day-at-a-time approach and to take it at my pace. While it's geared for 6 weeks, if it takes 7-8 weeks, that's fine.

Psychological backlash happens, too.

I find the approach very useful and I imagine having some exposure to CBt already you will find it easy to get through the whole book. It took me a couple of gos!

If hunger isn't the problem, food won't fix it.

I am seeing a CBT therapist for issues relating to chronic illness, and saw this team. I'll be buying the book(s) tomorrow (depends what I find in the store!) and look forward to seeing how it goes. I've scanned a few of the threads on this team and it just seems like the way to go for me too !
