Hi. I just found out about the Beck Solutions and bought the book yesterday. I am really excited about going through the Strategies. I think it will really help. I am apart of some other teams, but it appears they are inactive. I am happy there are so many people here. Hope to listen to some wonderful tips on helping each other out on this team.

I know what I am supposed to do with weight loss but keep "forgetting" when times get tough.
I love this book. It is a great reminder that this is a daily battle and to train your brain for a true change will work for losing the weight and never finding it again.

Love this book! Finally started and am so glad I did. Wish I had discoverd this book a few years ago. Many aspects I have discovered on my journey. Still have a few problem areas and looking forward to learning.

As you work though the book you can refer to the daily threads on the General Team Discussion Forum (Day 1, Day 2, etc), and share you thoughts and experiences as well. From time to time there is an organized reboot, and I know some folks started on up fairly recently. You're always welcome to jump in where ever you are.
I think everyone on this team will agree that this book is an amazing tool and a life changer.

Hello all! My name is Ellen, newly returning to Spark - this is day 3! Was so happy to see there is a team for the Beck Diet Solution...I have the book and started reading it, and knew right away that it would help me.

I will explore around the team page to see what is happening and how best to jump in.

Verna, the same goes for you. Also, thank you for your SP Goodie. Yes, we are both on the 'Starfish' Team. I wanted to join the Beck Diet Solution Team, so I would finally use the book I have had for a while, but never finished reading it. I was encouraged when reading "Watermellen's" interpretation blogs, if you will, and learned a lot just following her.
Looking forward to getting to know everybody.

You'll have some big adjustments to make, but I hope having this challenge to focus some of your energy on will help you get through it all. Even if you have to just go through the motions a bit at first, there are quite a few techniques that help in dealing with many challenges in life - not just diet. I hope you enjoy the book.

I have joined, too, although this might not be the ideal time. I just lost my husband and have numerous things to do, these next two weeks. I am known to like challenges, so I thought, I might give it a try, although I might not be a very active participant the first two weeks. I need something to do for myself, so, give me a chance. I have had the book for a while, but only glanced over the first couple of chapters. It's time that I put my teeth into it.

I am on board for March 1. Finally, I have found out when Beck Pink Reboot is set to start. Usually the reboot is at least a week into it already before I found out it. Thankfully I subscribed to Gaby's blogs and tonight there it was a Blog and she mentioned the Reboot. Thank you Gaby!!

I have read the first few chapters of the book but never gotten any further than that. I'm stoked to be with the group and hope to click with someone to travel along with on this journey. I have at least 10 lbs to lose and am going to get er dun this go around!! I have Beck Pink right by my chair and a notebook too. Must be an omen. Let's go gals.

Hi, all - My name is Kerry (aka Trouble). I was so happy to find this group because I bought the book over a month ago and never got around to reading it. I usually need something to keep me accountable and since a new voyage through the book is starting this week, my timing couldn't be more perfect. I read chapters 1-3 last night and will read 4 today to be ready for the kickoff on Wednesday.

I am currently at the lowest weight I've been since 1989, but still about 10 lbs. from where I would like to be. I am Whole Food Plant Based for most of a year now, but I already see where I have problems eating things I know I shouldn't and want to do this to make sure I get there and make transitioning to maintenance easier.

I am new to this group. I just saw the Beck Diet Solution Team and thought, I wonder if I still have the book. Sure enough in the pile on my nightstand! Haven't tried it since 3/2009! I am losing weight since I have recommitted myself to watching portions for the last two weeks. But I need support and companionship on this journey. I joined this group because I liked what I read about some of the members. I need to stop overeating. I've had this problem for years.....and I'm 71. It's never too late to start.

Just started reading The Diet Trap Solution by Dr. Beck and her daughter Deborah and wrote in my blog about today's reading. I am so looking forward to learning more so I can recognize when I am about to slip overboard and change my thinking to stop in my tracks. That seems like an impossible dream but from what I read it can be done. I am ready and willing to do what I can to stop eating more than what I plan each day.

Welcome, my friend. Beck has given me the tools that I needed to overcome those negative we all tell ourselves about "dieting." Once those are under control, the everyday tasks of planning and tracking become so much easier.

I hope you will find this Beck Trek as helpful as I did. Lots of good ideas in people's blogs.
