Faith ~ complete 40 day sugar fast, it's more a spiritual fast than a weight thing I need to turn to God for my comfort, not food (sweets, treats, bakery items, sugary drinks); journal and consistent quiet time

Health ~ get back to exercising 3x week to start. If I don't get up with Hubby, I need to commit to doing a dvd or walk the dog; meal plan healthy meals and snacks

Finances ~ pay off the last of our debt, Financial Peace Univ; budget and stick to it; no spend months (Jan & Jul) (limited to my spending and unnecessary things - no Target or Amazon, except pantry staples (bills and staple groceries okay as well as other pre-planned expenses); save for band fees (2 kids in HS band @$300 each, plus band trip @$500+ each, plus possible instrument purchase for youngest); grow emergency fund

Homemaking ~ declutter the whole house following Clutter Free for Life plan; formulate a cleaning schedule; and decorate the main level

Home ~ possible projects: enclose back porch, new sod and fence for back yard, landscaping, painting a few rooms, complete redo of oldest son's room, redo master bedroom (new bed and paint)

Marriage ~ monthly date nights

Family ~ summer vacation, one-on-one time with each kiddo

Self-Care ~ possibly take classes at community college, read 12+ non-fiction books

Work out every day except Sunday (as chronic illness will allow)

Read Bible every day (doing a read the Bible in a year journal)

Several trips/vacations this year including on to Seattle, WA and on to NJ and NY!!!

New car for me around late spring/early summer (currently borrowing MIL's old car - not used to not having veteran tags!!)

Declutter entire house and get into a cleaning routine to keep it clean and tidy and smelling good!! As well as decorate it! Working on my homemaking skills!!

I've got several more that I'll work on throughout the year. I'll also be studying the Proverbs 31 woman all year as well, doing different studies as well as independent study and memorizing the scripture.

Work toward walking 6 miles by the end of every day.

Read my Bible every day.

Continue intermittent fasting and eat less junk food.

Declutter the house and keep it clean.

Sew a lot more.

1) My husband had tests (November) indicating his heart function has dropped to 40%...I seriously need to be getting things out of my house so that we can move to a house without stairs. There is the goal...how to organize it is still in limbo. My Sis independently restated this to me which is emphasis from God, I think.

2) I feel the pressure to continue working for the $ and the times I sense the guiding of the Holy Spirit at work. But am creeping toward 'Ready to Retire'. Making a list of $ things that need to happen so that I can retire .... dental work...glasses....grown children MUST understand I am finished being their bank

3) Spiritual growth not yet formulated

4) Events/trips with Hubby, Son, Grandchildren aim for...8? during the year

Have you decided if you will have any resolutions or goals for this year? What's your vision for 2020? What would you like to focus on? What areas of life would you like to foster and grow?

Share your thoughts here! emoticon
