I often miss these message boards, too. I'm much better about keeping up with the blogs and the status updates.

I've been absent from Spark since about december of last year......I had a baby in July and unfortunately all the hardwork I did brought me back to my starting weight ahhhh!! so Im back after 2 weeks and ready to get back on track as well!! Welcome!! You can do this--if we can serve in the military and take orders year after year than what is a little healthy eating and exercise??? I wish you the best and will check in on you from time to time!!! If you need support just add us as friends and send an email---especially when no response on the boards=I forget to check in here :) -Crystal

Welcome to the Vets Team. We've all been there and done that, from the healthy living days to the how-did-those-pounds-get-on-me time after the service.

Glad to have you here with us and good luck as you start on a journey back to health!

I'm a disabled Navy Vet (been out since 2009) that has used too many excuses for gaining a pound here and a pound there. Those pounds have added up and the poor diet that helped cause them has got to GO! I'm struggling with portion control and cravings, but know I just have to get over this hurdle and it will get easier.

My fitness goal is to run and do push-ups like I did before I was injured. It can be done, and it will be done! I've been a member for just under 2 weeks and have lost 1 pound. So far I haven't broke into the pint of coconut flan ice cream sitting in my freezer! I would love all the support and encouragement (and occasional kick to the rear) from my fellow military brothers and sisters!
