Welcome back! I too joined SparkPeople a long time ago but only recently (about 3 months ago) got really involved. I think it can work for you! I found it too overwhelming at first, but now ... I don't know that I could have delved this far into weight loss and a healthier lifestyle without it. There are plenty of buddies here to help you through - don't be afraid to ask for help when you need it!

I joined sparkpeople last year and also this group, but never really made any kind of effort in my weight loss quest.

I recently (like last week) took a good hard look at myself and realized I am not happy. Not with the way I look or feel. Not with the way I eat or am teaching my children to eat.

I'm hoping that this is the place for me. I feel like I finally have a goal, not just a weightloss goal but a new way of life goal.

I'm desperately seeking new buddies to help me on my journey, maybe we can help motivate each other.
