The comfort that food brings us is so easy to embrace. food doesn't nag, provide negative comments, comes in all forms, is easily available and wont turn its back on you......Now is the time to STOP and say, why am I eating constantly and this much? and, What am I trying to avoid?
So....Plan #1 get yourself a bunch of veggies. Cut them up, place them in multiple baggies, so that you have 6 bags for each day of the week. This is what you will snack on when you get the urge for an oral fixation.
#2 Every time you want to eat something, tell yourself that you will EAT, but first you HAVE to drink 20 oz of water FIRST, and then 20 oz throughout the munch. This will force you to be full, and the effort of having to drink that much water makes you reconsider consuming that snack...on the other hand, it DOES FORCE you to get your liquid intake for the day in real sneaky-like
#3 So now you have your snacks and water all lined up...You need to go walk up the block and back, then do your water and snack routine. The walk will FORCE you to exercise, take your mind off of tearing through the kitchen looking for something to gobble down, and it now begins a NEW routine with calorie consumption.
----It's all about coming to terms with your own diet, health, exercise, and mind set----
We are our own enemies, and it is in our POWER to STOP and make lifestyle CHANGES...this is your NEW life; embrace it, and feel the power and control that you now will allow yourself to feel!
Good luck sweetie...I do know exactly what you are going through...been there, done that, still try to NOT do it again!!!
