Hi Brandi! Welcome to the team! Losing the weight has been hard. I get hungry a lot. Can you try snacking on low calorie items like cucumbers? I know they are not the ideal snack but it may help. Just keep working at it, you'll get there.

Good morning and hello,

I had a significant weight loss of over 260 pounds two years ago in my late thirties. Life being what it is, I got stressed and went back to some old bad habits, picked up 30 pounds again and at 40 have been hovering at 230 for just at a year now. When I lower my calories, I am so hungry, my stomach HURTS and sometimes I get blood sugar crashes. This never happened to me before. The weight came off like butter on a griddle previously. Admittedly, I have not been as active as I was previously. That is one of the major differences. I don't have transportation to get to the dance studio where I was dancing and I've been stuck inside a lot because of COVID. I feel like a bear in hibernation. But what I'm really wondering is has anyone else faced this issue of extreme hunger when lowering their calories and how did you cope? Also I should mention that even when I manage to ignore the hunger and deal with the blood sugar crashes, I'm not really losing weight. My body is holding on to this fat like a 3 three year old clutching its favourite blanket. I'M SO FRUSTRATED!!!!! Thanks for any insight anyone may have and best of luck to everybody.
