I joined SP in 2009! Wow! It is hard to believe that but I am back on track and active on SP again after too long of a hiatus. I too want to feel healthier and after 3 weeks of exercise it is now easier and I am sleeping emoticon emoticon emoticon great and really enjoy my tiem at the gym! I love the fitness classes, the group and leaders really help motivate me!

Welcome. Glad you decided to join us. I guess we never stop changing our whole lives but it all just seems to catch up with us in our 50s and beyond. It's harder to lose the weight now, but doable. Good luck.

Hi, and welcome. I joined SP about 1 1/2 years ago but stopped just short of goal. I am back again as of 1/1/14 and committed to losing 30-40 pounds by November.

Hi everyone! I have been on the team since the new year and am really looking forward to 2014. I'm looking forward to losing 30 lbs. and eating healthier. I am looking more at the nutritional value of the food I eat and how it affects health after 50. I love to run and workout, but diet is becoming so much more important to keep me going at this age. Things I used to eat without even thinking about it affect me in a negative way now. My husband had prostate cancer (luckily caught very early) about 4 years ago and that motivated both of us to look more closely at our eating habits. Good luck to all!
