Hi Brenda - welcome to the team!

I also have hearing loss, mostly from the Rh incompatibility that my parents had, but I've noticed things like my hearing worse after eating too much of the wrong kinds of foods for my system, tinnitus, vertigo (BPV) etc... although a lot of that has gotten better with dietary changes and gentle rebounding to stimulate my lymph system. I've known others with Meniere's who really have a terrible time with it.

Just found this team. I too, am rebooting! I like that term and it certainly applies well to what I'm up to.

I'm Brenda, 66, been on SP for about 13 years....and have done very little actually to make real progress but the buck stops at my door and today is a good day to open that door...to the rest of my days.

I have heart disease (2 heart attacks) diabetes, Meniere's with profound hearing loss, live alone so only have myself to look after and it's way past time I actually did that. I look forward to hanging out here if you'll let me!

In all things, I will acknowledge Christ, my Savior and strength of my life.

Hi everyone! I was a member of Spark a few years ago and lost some weight thanks to the friendly and supportive people I encountered here. But then life got in the way and I found excuses to get lazy. So now I’m back for round 2.

I have not totally relapsed. Some of the good habits I learned the first time around stuck with me. I still chug my daily water and eat lots of veggies. I have kept some of the weight off – enough that I am able to join the “50-99 pounds to lose” group instead of the “100+ pounds to lose group” this time. But I still have a long way to go.
