I'm on the same page as Beth fitness wise. I do cardio no less than 5 days a week and alternate strength training (upper body typically MWF). Weekends are usually really hectic for me, so those are typically my off days, but I try to get in a light walk or do stability ball routine.

I love food and I love to cook. Are you new to being a vegetarian? If so, I have a few cookbooks I recommend. The first is 1,000 Vegetarian Recipes by Carol Gelles and the second is 1,000 Vegan Recipes by Robin Robertson. Lots of great recipes in both books that don't require a bunch of off-the-wall ingredients that you have to go to five stores just to get the ingredients to make one dish.

I also swear by the book "Classic Vegetarian Recipes" that has a number of contributors--Sue Ashworth is one of them--here's a link at Amazon www.amazon.com/Classic-Vegetarian-Re

One of my favorite things about this book is that EVERY recipe has a picture with step-by-step pix as well. It's one of the best illustrated cookbooks you'll ever find. The recipes are very pleasing for both meat-eaters and vegetarians.

Well, for fittness, I have been doing cardio everyday, and alternating upper and lower body resistance training. I have been getting stronger and having more endurance.
