When you are in the middle of the confusion, it can seem impossible that anything will bring you out. But I believe it will. Keep the image of freedom from the compulsion in your mind. It's a great place to be and worth the efforts to resist the urges. Welcome to the journey with us.

Welcome to the team! I, myself, am new here. My life has been spent battling my weight. I remember my first 'diet' when I was REALLY young. Bingeing has always been present in my life. In one way or another. It's nice to know I'm not alone. Thank you all for being here and helping me along my way. :)

Hi there,

I'm relatively new here too and have found this to be a very supportive team.

I have been where you are lost & gained the weight several times. I'm currently at a high weight, but trying not to focus on weight so much and instead concentrate on not bingeing.

Good luck, I hope you find a strategy that works for you.

Hi and welcome to the team emoticon

Smile .... it makes people wonder what you're up to ;-)

It is far easier to MAKE time to exercise than it is to FIND time to exercise. You want results???? MAKE it happen.

Keep trying - you CAN do it - believe in yourself!

I have lost and gained hundreds of pounds in my life due to binge eating. This last time I have lost 113 lb, 25 of which found their way back and now are happily resting on my b..tt. I don't know why but sometimes I feel very strong and stick to my plan of eating no matter what and sometimes the only thing I can think of is food and when those food thoughts appear, there is nothing in the world that can stop me unless I binged to the point of being sick (usually 3-4 days) then I get panicky, go on a plan for a week or two and this vicious cycle continues. Binging is a very lonely occupation. I am hoping that knowing that I can always connect with like-minded people (a.k.a bingers) will prevent my next binge. I read a lot about binging and am trying to implement various tricks but so far not with the great success. Please, contact me if you want a buddy to tackle this horrible thing...
