Sorry I've been out of the loop!

Boy, do I know night eating. And yes, it can be tough. I wish I could tell you there was something that made it easy to control, but it did take getting through some tough times. It just becomes clear that the pain of not doing it is better than the pain of doing it. That's called productive suffering!

I heartily recommend having a good dinner and then posting on the "hour commitment" thread, though it doesn't have to be for even an hour, if needed! You can work your way up from 15 minutes.

I have another basic idea, but don't want to go on and on. Let me know what you'd like.

Hi, welcome!

Good that you have the help of a therapist. If you like, check out the active threads here: for example the 'hour commitments' thread, or the LBM thread.
I got a lot out of reading the blogs of team leader Oolala, you may want to go through her older blogs and see if that helps you.

I've been doing this for over 50 years. I'm sure there's emotional components, and I'm in therapy, too. There's physical components, too. I've struggled with this for so long and I'm glad to find people who struggle and understand it. Maybe I can learn something here.
