Hey y'all,

I'm JaimeKristal, but most just call me JK. I happen to be twenty-nine with my birthday in less than six months *eeep* I am planning to move to the UK next summer, so I want to get healthy and fit before I go. I'm not even five feet tall, so my pudge is quickly noticeable. My main goal is a flat stomach, but if up to twenty pounds want to leave with my smooshy tummy I'm all right with that :)

Hey everyone!
My name is Krista

I am 26 years old, and I want nothing more than to reach my goal weight by my 27th birthday (end of September)
I am single and ready to mingle lol (but seriously, I want to gain the confidence to get out there and find Mr. Right!)

My end goal is to be fit and have a flat stomach, not sure what weight this will happen at, but my sights are currently set on 140.
My mini goal is to make some good sparkfriends, keep learning about healthy living!

Hello all!
My name is Jessica.
I just turned 27 years old and don't quite identify with the younger 20s teams on here.
I am single with a boyfriend in Toronto - I just moved to Saskatoon, Canada.
I have no kids.
I am on this lifestyle journey because I want to love my life and need a body I love to achieve that.

Hi I'm Laura! My 29th birthday is looming and I am determined to feel amazing next year when I turn 30 - I am looking to get fit and healthy and if I lose weight that's a bonus! I already have a great figure which I don't want to lose but my goal is to dance for ages without getting tired!

Hello! My name is Dana and I am 27 years old. I am single and don't have any human children though I do fur-kid named Luna. Looking back on my life, I see a pattern of relinquishing activity for a more sedentary lifestyle. Once I graduated and got a desk job, I realized that I needed to do more for myself. With nothing else major going on in my life right now (like grad school), my goal is to eventually get down to a healthy weight, which will take me awhile. Right now, my mini goal is to just keep making small changes to my lifestyle and watch those changes add up to weight loss. So far I've switched to drinking almost exclusively water, I exercise for at least 10 minutes every day and I'm really trying to limit my sweets.

Hi, my name is Rachel and I am 29 years old. I have been married for 8 years and have two children, aged 3 and 4 months. My youngest is part of the reason I'm here. I don't want to be obese when I turn 30 next May.

My goals are to lose 50 pounds before my birthday and I'm working up to exercising out 500 calories a day. I've been focusing on my fat intake and my water intake daily as well as just plain tracking everything I'm eating.

Hi my name is Julia im from the San Francisco Bay Area and I am 27 years old. I will be turning 28 in august...i don't know where the time went I swear! I am currently single with 3 children. I am here because I would like to change my habits. I want my children to develop healthy habits. I don't want them to struggle with weight issues when they are older and I know it will be easier for them if they develop healthy habits now. Also I know I will be a happier person if I am a healthier person and my children will benefit from that as well. My goal is to loose 20lbs I have already lost 20. My shoort term goal is to loose 5lbs by the end of the month.

Hello!
I'm Raquel, I'm 28 and to be honest I don't want to turn 30, but time is unstoppable, so I have decided that for the time I turn 30 I will be in the best shape of my life!
I'm an emotional eater so my weigth loss plan is actually a mind fixing plan. What else... not married, no children, trying to fix the mistakes I made on my early twenties, and that's it about me.

I have a daughter who just turned 6 from a previous relationship

My name is Jen
I am 28 years old. I have never been married and I have no children.
I have spent the last ten years in college, working, then going to grad school. I have made some really great strides professionally, but my health and weight have suffered as I have not been focused on maintaining them.
I want to be more healthy and I hope to continue on this journey for the rest of my life. I have been with SparkPeople for nearly 4 months, so I'm feeling good about the progress that I've made.

I started this journey wanting to lose 100 pounds. I upped my goal to 109 pounds because I believe 165 is about what I weighed when I graduated college. I wouldn't dream of getting down to my high school weight, but I think my college weight is reasonable.

My mini goals are the same every single week. Start the week great and finish strong. I start the week on Monday with a solid workout. I log my food EVERY day. There's no point in lying to myself about what I consume.

In the long term - I give myself breaks when I think I should and I push myself at the gym when I think I'm ready for "harder" workouts. OH - and for every 15 pounds I lose, I get a pedicure!

I never know what to say in these things either, so I'll just stick with this for now.
My name is Jenn
I am 23 years old
I am "married" (not officially, as we can't afford a wedding)
I have no kids; I have a cat, though
I am on this lifestyle journey because I want to feel comfortable in my own skin again (and my clothes; I've been having to wear my fiancé's bottoms lately)
I started at 168.5lbs, I'm now 166ish, and 5'5"
My end goal is 135lbs
My mini goal is 150 lbs by my next birthday, 2/19
I love the sedentary lifestyle and sweets way too much. This was fine through my whole childhood, but now my metabolism can't handle it anymore, so I need to figure out how to get back to a weight I'm happy with and stay there, without giving up all sweets and sitting, just some of them :)
About a month ago, I started biking to and from school 4 days a week (mostly uphill to school, mostly downhill from) and I've lost about 2 lbs. Not as much as I had hoped, but at least it's going in the right direction, I guess. I think I'm going to need help to reach my goal.

My name is Kelly and I am from San Jose, CA. I am 29 years old (30 in August). I have been married to my wonderful husband for 25 months. Currently we don't have any kids, unless you count our two adorable dogs, Baybee Luvs (chihuahua) and Orwood "Woody" (Pug). I am on this lifestyle journey because we are looking forward to having kids of our own, and I want to be at a healthy weight level when I get pregnant.
