Hi and welcome to the team. If you have a stabilization ball you can do the Free or Island Run by sitting on it and doing a motion like doing the twist. Just be careful you don't twist yourself off the ball. I also do the Island Cycling on the ball with weights on my ankles. That gets me sweating.

I WILL look to smaller goals to accomplish the final goal!

Welcome to the team! I agree with the other suggestions. Island cycling, free run & free step can be modified by you for your level. I actually do break a sweat during these. I also have fun & get a good workout with the Walk It Out & Just Dance games.

Welcome, Yeah I would do the free step and use some weights, and free run! I hear of people talking about running around the island but I haven't found that yet! I think you have to maybe unlock it !

Hi & welcome to the team!

Re your question: Since you regular walk & do the stationary bike, I'd suggest a few things on Wii Fit/Plus where you can get more cardio workout:

- agree with you on rhythm boxing, especially when you keep moving while watching the trainer's instructions

- try Free Step while holding weights. Go faster than the beat it provides if you can & incorporate some biceps curls, etc. for even more workout

- Free Run of course you can do at whatever pace you want

- one the Plus, I really like Island Cycling. You can do this at a quick pace also. Try the longer durations for more workout.

Good luck!

Hello all, my name is Debbie and I'm new to the team and to the Wii fit plus. My usual cardio workout is my stationary bike and/or a 2 - 3 mile walk. Unfortunately the computer on the bike is broken, and the weather here in New England has been cold and rainy, so I can't consistently get my walk in. I pulled out the Wii fit plus last week and started playing around. It's OK, but I'm looking for some ideas to boost the workout a bit. I find that I barely break a sweat, and only the rythm boxing gets my heart rate up a bit. Any and all suggestions appreciated!!! Thanks

Debbie
