If you go back on my blog, I did one about working out in bed. I get the aneurysm thing, so there is only so much you can do right now, but even moving around while you are sitting or in bed will help. We're here for you! Good to have you with us. Be well.

Hi I am Myra and I have been a member of SP since February 2008. I was doing really well and had lost 21lbs back in February to mid March 2008 and then on the 13th March 2008 I had a ruptured aneurysm, a subarachnoid haemorrhage. I underwent surgery on the same day and was coiled. after a few days I got hydorcephalus and had several seizures. I am still waiting for further surgery for another aneursym but now I have put back all the weight on again.

My ticker should actually really read in kilograms.

I have started all over again and in March 2009 I weighed in at 224bs and yesterday I weighed myself and I am down to 215lb, small changes but nevertheless a change.

My name is Katherine and I had a brain aneurysm 2/27/07 (isn't that a nice number to remember?). It was clipped and I live on. I experienced the world tilting to the side, brain fog, being lost, inability to say words I wanted to etc. I'm "all better now", yet there are times still that it is hard to have a timeline in my head of the past.

I'm still working on other health issues - low thyroid and possible hemochromatosis.

I love to walk, live in the Seattle area, and am reworking being fit.

Currently I'm teamleader for the Spark People Team for the Brain Cancer Walk in Seattle. I invite you to join the team "Seattle Brain Cancer Walk" or if you would like to walk with me or donate please visit http://community.swedish.org/sparkpeople
