Hi Kiddo,
I guess you could mainly work from your sparkpage. I don't know. I do know that while so many other groups charge for all the information--it is a blessing that this one doesn't charge a dime. I am grateful for that. I dunno! Maybe someone can help...

As for getting into Sparks... I have had the WORST time with remembering passwords... since my accident. And setting up a new one is HARD now. All of it is hard work.

But I am glad you are here and we can all learn from one another!
Barb G

All the best,

I wonder if they would ever consider allowing people to create a customized "home page". I understand they need to have ads etc, however it would be great to be able to choose what's on your page that you want to do every day and then have a side bar like they have now with the things to check in on.

so many websites will allow a person to set up their homepage customized. If it helps people to come in, even on a busy day or day they don't feel well, it may actually HELP people to come back.

Or at least a way to find things easier. Most of the time I can't even figure out how to find my own spark page! lol!

Hey there...
As for the craziness of the site--I totally understand. There are days I want to shoot that Safeway ad!!! I don't have a real solution, but maybe someone here has an idea. I have been known to toss a sheet of paper over the moving channels at times. It is so much like 'living in a pinball machine'.

There are times, that I am suffering and do not log in some things every day. I TRY to 'roll the dice' and get my log in points, and check in here... But that may be all I do in a day. Right now I need to go in and log my workout minutes for the week... the change in the weather here in SW WA STATE gives my brain a taxation of its own... OH. I look away from the check in wheel by the way... Why do we naturally watch those things?

I am glad you came back. We are a good group. Some of our members are not needing weightloss assistance (green with jealousy here) but still keep in contact--because they are still 'one of us'. Many of us find it challenging to lose the weight because of reduced activity and/or drugs we are on.

I hope you keep coming back.
Hugs to you!
Barb

I've been a sparkler for years and took a break. I'm working on some new goals and back. While I'm not looking for alot of "welcome back" responses, I would love it if anyone knows if there is a way to sort of create what and how much a person views when they log in.
Is there anyway to get away from all of the visual stimuli on this website on every single page?

I have a number of neuro types of conditions and brain deterioration. While I love alot of the content and tools here, it's so challenging to even sign in. It's a visual hype for me that is sort of a turn off.

anyone else experience this? Any tips on some visual simplicity with using the site and tools?

thanks so much for any suggestions and tips you've find helpful?
