Thank you for sharing! I have quit working and applied for disability because of my deficits, but thankfully I have not had seizures or anything paralyzed! Have you regained your arm or leg?

How are you doing on your weight loss journey?

I am strong though I stumble
I stand tall though I am dizzy
I am rare, but not unique!

Every day is a challenge
But I will never give up
Because I know the strength within me!

Hi!!
I have a C. angnimoma too. first bleed was when i was 14. then 18. no more bleeds, but my left side is nearly paralized.
first bleed took out my left arm, 2nd took out my left leg.
I worked up to 2005 when i started having more seizures,
I'm 56 years old now, so this is my new "normal" b/c I've been this way so long.

Good luck on your weight loss journey!

Welcome to the group! Sounds like you have a lot of challenges with your condition, but are facing them "head on" (pardon the pun) to find alternatives to keep you healthy--great job!!

Hello All! I was diagnosed with a cavernous malformation in 2009. I have now had 6 bleeds (been experiencing symptoms from my sixth bleed since September 2012). When I have a bleed I am constantly light headed and I have dizzy spells also. The left side of my body goes numb, my vision blurs and I have difficulty concentrating sometimes. I also have a bobble head effect where my head constantly feels like it flops to the right/back. I had to stop working in November when I started falling down and filed for disability (I am still waiting to hear about that). I joined SP because I really need to loose weight, but it is hard because my favorite thing to do is walk and I cannot do that right now.

I try to stay as active as I can, I bought a cane and a rollator to help keep me moving. I am glad that I joined this group and look forward to getting to know everybody!
