I just prayed for you and Ashlea. It sounds like you have a very challenging life!

The Lord upholds all who fall, and raises up all who are bowed down. Psalm 145:14

A monk was once asked: What do you do there in the monastery? He replied: We fall and get up, fall and get up, fall and get up again. - Tito Colliander

The Jesus Prayer helps to lift the whole life, body and soul, to a level where . . . the world is sought and known in the beauty of God, not God in the beauty of the world. - Mother Maria of Normanby

I am living with my almost 20 year old daughter who has among other issues, an NBIA disorder caused by 2 brain lesions. life is never boring when you throw in her muscle myopathy and her psychosis. of course then you have all of her little things like chorea, anxiety, depression, ADD, eczema... oh, did I mention I work too. yep! BUT only when she is at program or at community hab with her person. I manage to work about 15 to 20 hours each week around her schedule of programs and weekly appointments. I am a substitute at headstart where I started when she was 3, so they know all about her. she still goes there to visit. the staff, new and seasoned, love her. she reads to the kids and plays with them. I am very lucky. we volunteer time there too, obviously. she doesn't go when I am working. everyone have a great day!!
