Welcome back, Pamela.

And, you're right. SparkPeople support played a huge role in supporting me during my weight loss phase; and, I still really need them to stay motivated to work at maintaining my weight loss.

And, this SparkTeam understands, especially, the additional challenges to losing weight, when we are dealing with the chronic illness of MS, and it's accompanying issues (ie: steroids, fatigue issues/lack of energy or stamina, disability, etc).

Please keep coming back. Regular posting at SP is a helpful strategy for losing weight.

I am not new I actually joined SparkPeople in 2007. I went back to school in 2009 and slowly stopped posting. I signed up for the 2013 climb to the top eventto benefit NMSS in NYC and have been "training" for a little while. I thought it would be great to have an online place to get motivation and share my successes. Silly me, there is a place, SparkPeople especially this group.
I was diagnosed about 20 years ago. The MonSter was pretty active for a while but has been quiet for the few years. Just before I stopped posting here I was in the best shape I have ever been in. Don't get me wrong, that doesn't mean I was in great shape it just means I was a lot worse. I am having one of those birthdays that end in a zero this year so I wanted a challenge to commemorate it. My husband showed me the information for the Climb to the Top to climb 66 stories of Rockefeller Center. So now I am trying to get back into shape for this climb. I only have three weeks left and I am not as far along as I hoped but I am getting there.
