Many of us go through what you are going through...Going through menopause, once you have adjusted to it, isn't a bad thing...it's just the adjustment that sucks...
I would take a week and just truthfully journal what you eat and see what you are doing...then try and just cut back on one thing going forward...and keep doing that week after week...
Throw all your "hot" foods out of the house and bring in some good stuff you can nibble at...
I'm a chocoholic....bring it in the house and it will be eaten...so I have carrots with lite ranch dressing or little tangerines...stuff like that...
With exercise...take it slow...and build it up...you just can't do everything. I always start with the treadmill because that is my favorite...then I add things in...

New to the team, but not to SparkPeople or MS.
Well, I guess I'm new to MS. I was diagnosed July of 2013. I have a mild to moderate case of RRMS. No exacerbations since the original diagnosis, so I'm pretty lucky.
I have paresthesia in my right side limbs. Mostly tingling, but I do get burning and "fire ant under the skin" feelings as well. I also deal with loss of balance on occasion.
I'm struggling with several things right now. My weight is climbing upwards at an alarming rate. I'm not sure if it's the meds that I am on or something else. I've been trying to eat better, but I'm struggling with my appetite right now. Unless I am at one extreme or the other, I can't tell if I'm hungry or full. I found myself eating throughout the day. I have no desire to think about meal planning because I don't know what I want.I know that needs to be a key.
I also am having trouble with exercise. If I do to much I "use all my spoons" so to speak. The thing that has always worked for me in the past for weight loss is High Intensity training like running (until my knee crapped out), Zumba, and the elliptical. I also did Group Power (Think weight lifting in a group exercise format.)
I gave up Group Power because I was having issues coordinating my right and left sides together. Not something you want to be worried about with a heavy weight bar above your head.
I mostly need to figure out how to get everything in without zapping my energy for work and home.
Oh, and I'm going through menopause, too, thanks to the removal of my uterus and ovaries. Good times.

Anyway, that's me. Or part of me at any rate.
