Thanks Melissa,
I am doing better today. I have been reading all the articles that have been sent from sparkpeople.
The recipes that are posted look really good. I will be trying those.

Thanks Jan, I needed to hear that. I am going very slow and am still wandering around the sparkpeople site trying to figure out what and how to do this. Burt at least I am still here and looking around. thwere are so many activities. I am working at the gym and watching what I eat and when I think I am hungry I grab my water. What a change from even last month. So baby steps for me.

Welcome! Gallbladder surgery yuck! Hope you recover well and quickly.

You can choose to look at your 30 pound lost, (from last year), two ways....one you mentioned in your post. The other way to look at it, would be to imagine yourself even 30 pounds heavier...It is difficult to forgive ourselves when we put weight on from our struggles to lose it in the first place! I know this from personal experience.

But I am changing my thought patterns with the help of SP. Now I am celebrating the small victories...like a .50 or a 1 pound loss....a walk, a decision to pass up a drive through joint, etc.

So I am celebrating the fact you had surgery and have decided to get back on the right track to a healither YOU!

Welcome, and look forward to hearing from you, as you lose inches and pounds!

Hi all!

I joined SP and found out I needed gallbladder surgery - so I have not been active. I have now had the surgery and am recovering and ready to get started.

I lost about 30lbs a year ago, and I have now gained all of it back :( So off we go!
