hi, i have had ibs ever since i can remember. When i was little my parents just thought that i was a hypacondriak(not sure how to spell that) because i had stomach aches all the time along with dih. Finally when i was about 15 they had alergy tests and lactose intollerence tests done, i do have lots of food allergies, but not lactose intollerent. I didnt actually get diagnosed with ibs until i was around 19. Some days are good and other days are just terrible, its hard to function when you have to use the bathroom all the time. The worst is when i am at work and this happens, we only have one washroom at work. I try not to eat stuff that i know will trigger my ibs, but sometimes its doesnt matter what i eat it still happens. I am not sure what to do, i dont want to use pepto or imoduim all the time, any suggestions?
