Hello everyone. My name is Lisa and I am a mother of a 8 week old boy and a 7 year old girl. I am here mainly because of the excess baby weight I need to loose from my little boy's pregnancy but I also would like to loose the excess baby weight that I gained with my daughter and never got off. I have wanted to get to 120 pounds for 7 years and this time I am going to do it!!! I get up every morning at 4:30 to workout because with 2 kids, especially a newborn, there is just not enough time in the day. I also work full time and go to school full time.

Hi all! I am a 37 year old sahm to three wonderful boys, 4Ĺ, 2Ĺ and 11 months. I can't use the excuse that I need to lose the baby weight because I'm actually about 15 lbs. lighter than I was before I was pregnant with my first son. Not by dieting, I just lost weight or gained very little with each pregnancy. Too bad I couldn't keep it off with each one, I'd probably be close to my goal weight. I have PCOS, so it makes everything that much more difficult.

I find my biggest problem is... I'm not sure how to explain... I eat because I feel like I deserve it, "especially after a day like this". I know it's emotional eating. It's the one thing that always makes me feel like I get to do something I want to do, when I want to do it.

Hopefully this will be the start of changing all that. My will power is not very strong, so I'm hoping the support I find here will compensate. Looking forward to becoming part of a great community!

Hello everyone!! I'm Kim, I have a 1 yr old active boy that wants mommy to pay attention to him every second :)..I've gained almost 100 lbs during and after pregnancy it was hard trying to work out with my son, I was always tired. he woke up every hour for the first 6 months, every two hour to three until now, which meant all I did was eat and sleep. Now he lets me sleep 6 hour stretch which gave me enough energy to workout during the day. I'm 30 and I want to get back active with a lot less weight to carry, for me, my son, husband and maybe a second pregnancy if I drop the weight.

Hi! My name is Jessica I'm 21 and I have a 5 month old son. I gained 39 lbs during my pregnancy and I want to lose it all plus some, all together 45 lbs is my goal! I'm starting a diet and excercise regime and I'm also taking Hydroxycut, my friend recommended it. I would like to be down to my goal weight by my son's first birthday!!!

Hi Green! Hope we all had a great first day of challenge. I haven't socialized much in this particular room but am very psyched that we have new leadership who want it to be more active. I suggested this challenge because I think challenges really help people come together and get the most out of spark and BSGs. Just as a little intro -

I am Tara, 27 y/o from Allentown PA. My fiance and I (marrying in October) bought a house about 6 months ago where we live with our 20 month old Gianna and on weekends, his 7 y/o son Bryce. I do Financial Services in a medical imaging company that you've probably heard of (in the camera market - Olympus! Are you surprised that cameras are only about 10% of their total sales? They sell a lot of endoscopy equipment! I help hospitals lease them :)

I think I'll be an asset to the green team because I am involved in 2 other challenges right now that both require daily exercise and I am BOUND AND DETERMINED to break the low 140s plateau that I've been on for over a month. I WILL DO IT!

So, in case it comes down to voting someone out (which it wont cause we'll rock!) hopefully my exercise minutes count for something! Feel free to friend me...

Would like to lose the other 15 plus another 12 to get down to 130lbs. So I have a ways to go. Looking forward to working out and getting healthy.

Hello everyone!! I'm jessica I have twin boys who are 12 weeks today. Gabriel and ezekiel they were born on Valentine day they were 5 weeks 3 days premature. Gabriel was vaginal in almost 6 hrs and ezekeil was an emergency c-section. And apparently so emergency they cut me diferent than mosy "normal" c-sections. I gained almost 100 lbs during pregnancy I was on bed rest for 16 weeks over all so that took a hard toll on me. Im down 50 lbs after their birth in about 3 weeks and now it is the move it to lose it game. I'm 29 married to my best friend and want to get back to pregnancy weight and then some. Want to do it for me. The boys and to have a hopeful second healtier pregnancy down the road.

Hey everyone! I'm Katie, 19, and have a 7 month old daughter. I gained about 20 lbs during my pregnancy, and I want it alllll gone! My goal weight is 140, and I'm about 210 now :( I want to tone, tone, tone, and hopefully lighten up the stretch marks I've got, and reduce my breast size. I plan to exercise using Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred for at least 5 days a week. It's about 20 or 30 minutes of working out. I want to start watching the calories I take in, also. I do a lot of cooking at home, and I'd like to cut out a majority of fast food from my diet!

Hi, I'm 27 mother of three girls. 5 months, 5 years and 8 years. Noticed recently that I have put on the pounds and cant wait to get them off. I was on bedrest for 3 months before the baby was born, and my husband and I decided I would stay home with the baby at least until she is a year old. Well I am definitely out of practice. Walked for the first time in 8 months and I am hurting now but that's good right? lol I need someone to kick me in the but and help me stay motivated I have always been a big person and really want to get my weight down so I can play with my girls and not be so tired all the time.

Hi, my name is Tracie. My husband and I have been blessed with 3 beautiful girls, Hailee, 4, Emilee, 2, and Charlee, 2 months. I have struggled with my weight since I quit smoking over 8 years ago. It was worse after I had my kids (I am NOT blaming them at all, it is all my fault) since I ate "for 2" all the time. Now I'm about 3 weeks into my weight loss journey. I hope that all goes well. I would like to be back to 140 pounds before I get pregnant again (maybe a boy??). I don't want to get pregnant for about another year for spacing reasons, so I have time. I could use some more Spark friends to keep me on track!

Hey there! My name is Jennifer. I just had a baby about 9 months ago & I was pretty lucky to lose all the weight post partum. Unfortunately I got too comfortable & thought that since I lost it so quickly that I would'nt have any problems. I was wrong, I have gained about 10 pounds back which means I've gained back half of what I gained when I was pregnant. I need a change & that's why I joined this site. I've never done anything like this before, so I'm really motivated & hoping to stay that way. I love food too much & I'm hoping by logging everything that it will keep my eyes open. My Name is Chandra, I just had my first child Allie who is now 2 months old. I gained a lot more weight during pregnancy than I needed to and have also been gaining steadily ever since I settled into a desk job 3 and 1/2 years ago. I have decided it is time to turn it around. I want to lead an active lifestyle with my little family, meaning walks to the park to run and play and being outdoors and active with my daughter in general. Hi Everyone! My name is Laura. I have a 7 year old son and a soon to be (9 days away) 1 year old baby girl. I had compliactions with my son and he was born 6 weeks early. Shortly after bringing him home, I developed a severe case of Post Partum Depression. I gained a lot of weight and have basically kept all that on. I was able to lose 20 pounds and then I got pregnant with my daughter. I have been able to lose 33 pounds, but would still like to lose at least 45 more. I guess I am saying I can use all the help I can get! :)

hi, my name is Jackie...I am a working mommy with two babies, a 2y/o daughter (9/24/08) and my son was born on 3/14/10...well its been over a year since i had him and I stilll can not loose the weight I gained with him. I just had my second kid less than 4 weeks ago. Due to a minor complication (although a bit serious) I was told I won't be able to do serious exercise for 3 months. I'm very frustrated with this so I'm going to try to focus on nutrition and get that under control first. Hopefully I can stick to it and get some decent results!

Hi everyone, my name is Kristin. My husband and I were blessed with our first daughter, Alexa, on July 1, 2010. I'm having trouble losing weight I gained during pregnancy. I weigh more now than I did when I was pregnant with Alexa. I read an article the other day that said usually if you don't lose your pregnancy weight within a year, you probably won't lose it. So, I've decided I am actually going to stick with exercising and portion controlling because I'm not comfortable with my unhealthy weight. I feel I could lose weight if I gave up sodas and started exercising everyday, but I'm having a little trouble getting motivated to do these two. So that's why I've joined sparkpeople.

Hi I signed up for spark people years ago but never used it so I am fairly new because of inactivity. I am a mother of two, a 4 soon to be 5 year old and I just had a baby on 3-14-11 by c-section and I will be getting married in Las Vegas on September 10, 2011. I am also breastfeeding so I will have a challenge with my calorie intake. I am currently 200lbs and my overall goal (not for the wedding) is to be 165lbs. My wedding goal is to lose at least 20lbs. I have tried many times before and haven't gotten pass 10lbs of weight loss, this time I am truly motivated and sick and tired of being overweight! Hello, my name is Brandy and I am 27 years old. I am happily married and I have a 10 year old step daughter, a four year old daughter, a 2 year old son, and an 8 month old son. I had numerous complications with all my pregnancies and was on bed rest with my last two. I had problems with the baby's placenta and developed gestational diabetes as well as gallstones and preeclampsia. I had 3 children in four years and ended up gaining 90 pounds. I am very concerned about my health and my self esteem has really suffered from my weight gain as well. I want to be healthy for my husband and my children and would like to feel much more confident in my appearance.

Hello, I am from NH my only child just turned one in March. I really didnít gain too much weight during pregnancy but after that was a whole other story. Before my baby I was 160 which was still over weight but I could live with that. Now here I am a year after baby and I am 210 pounds. So I have decided to take this weigh loss journey not only for my self but for my daughter, I want to teach her healthy eating and I also want her to not obsess about her weight.

Hi everyone - my name is Jenn. I'm going to be 42 and I have 2 kids - and 18 year old and a surprise 2.5 month old. I put on more weight than I had intended in the last trimester. My age and being unable to breastfeed after she was 4 weeks old have really slowed my weight loss down. Hi, my name is Silvia and I live in Italy.
I am a new mum to wonderful son David Itamar, who is now three months old (born on December 30).
I gained too much weight durin the third trimester, totalling 15 kg instead of the recommended 10 kg. I had lost 2/3 of that by end of month 1, but after stopping breastfeeding, I continued to eat like I was breastfeeding, with the result that I have now gained a few kg back.
My goal is first of all to go down to my prepregnancy weight of 58 kg and then lose a few kg more. I want to be toned and healthy before I embark on a new pregnancy.

Hello! My name is Erin. I am 21 and just had my first baby in January. She is almost three months now! Before I got pregnant I weighed 240 and ballooned up to about 295 during my pregnancy. A lot of it was water weight but with that being said, I was very unhappy with myself and still am. About five years ago I weighed 140 and thought I was fat!!!! I want to be athletic again and enjoy my body and my life!!!!! I am so ready for this!!! =) emoticon

I am a mom of a wonderful 4.5 month old. my goals are pretty much based around wanting to lose my baby weight and maybe, just maybe, lose even a little bit more :) day 1 and so far so good.....we'll see how this first week goes!

I don't like to give out too much info on the internet but I will tell you I have a 1 year old son, I am 20 years old, I'm enrolled as a full time student at a university, and most of the time I work. I don't exactly have much time for exercising or sleep but I have been getting better about it over the past few weeks. I hope keeping track of my weight and talking to others about it will help keep me inspired. I think about myself two and a half years ago when I was on my school's track and swimming teams, sprinting for miles every day on land and in water. I don't need to be that healthy again to feel better about myself, but to be better than where I am now would be nice.

i felt the same way you do now but i made myself stick with it any8way Well the healthy eating part i just started exercise like a week ago but anyway when u start eating well after a while the stuff that's bad for u tastes different and fruits and veggies have a new flavor so go ahead and give it a try wat do u got to lose?

I'm Amy. I have a one year old daughter, and I've been married for 8 years. I don't really have any interests other than watching movies. I'm not really sure why I joined SparkPeople, because my attitude about losing weight is quite childish, but it's worth a shot, right? I find that most healthy food tastes HORRIBLE to me and I'd rather just not eat anything at all. Exercise makes me miserable- I do not get that euphoric feeling that so many people talk about after a work out. Motivation is completely non existent in my life, so maybe I can gain some from all of you. Thank you for letting my negative little self join your group.

My name is Jessica and I am a mom of 3, oldest 6, middle 2, and youngest 11 months. I just lost most of my pregnancy weight from my 2 year old when I found out I was pregnant with my youngest. So this time, I haven't been motivated to lose the weight. I have wanted to, and will do good for a while, then go on a "pigging out" spree. I joined Weight Watchers on January 5th..I don't like the new system with weight watchers, so I went looking and found this site, and so far I am glad that I did! I have about 35 pounds until my goal weight, and I hope to stay motivatede!

I gained 70lbs with my 1st and 60lbs with my 2nd and have had a lot of success with the South Beach Diet. After my 1st I did well with Tae Bo, but after my 2nd I just didn't have the time, so I have been using my Wii and Gold's Gym games.

Hello, my name is Carie, I am 28 years old, I have a 4 year old and a 10 month old. I am only 5'2 and reached 220lbs with my first pregnancy and 210lbs with my second. After my 1st I was successfully able to reach 130lbs, but after my second I am stuck at 140lbs. It may not sound like much, but when you are only 5'2 it is a lot. I work out on my wii 4 times a week with boxing and salsa dance, as well as walking on the weekends, but I can't seem to lose any more. I would appreciate any advice that I could get.

Hello, my name is Tosha. I am 26 years old and have a 3 year old son and my daughter is 5 weeks old. I only gained about 15 lbs with my recent pregnancy but I started out already overweight. I have always struggled with my weight and need to make this a life change. My husband is very busy with work so is not home very much and I will be going back to my full time job in 3 weeks. It;s so hard to figure out time to work out! I need some people to talk to that can relate! emoticon
