Welcome Kathy, baby steps are what is the way to go to show progress. The weight did not come on overnight and definately does not go off overnight, but like the old adage, slow and steady does it.

Welcome! I agree that you need to take one day at a time. I would also suggest baby steps--one thing at a time. It can be overwhelming to try to change your diet and exercise habits all at once in a drastic way!

Welcome. You are correct that you will have to take this journey one day at time. SparkPeople ha great resources and the community is incredibly supportive. It isn't an opvernight change but you will see change overtime, and it won't just be physical. Enjoy every small success and forget when you slip up.

Hello, I have been browsing the site and see many positive things. I am having a hard time doing all the right things. I am a nurse, I know how to do this, I am just so tired. One day at a time, I will try.
