Hi Janet! emoticon You've lost 50 so far, how great is that! emoticon I've only lost 13 so far, but feel good about it, at least I'm moving in the right direction now. This site has great articles, recipes, support and lots of nice people. Keep logging in, I think it will help you much. Best of luck with reaching your goals and you have done great so far!

Janet, welcome to the team. Major Congrats on losing that first 50. I know you can do the last 80. And yes changing your whole eating and fitness activities are really hard

I am a 36 year old female mother of 2 that wants to loose weight and get in shape. I have always been heavier than it wanted to be. Never wanting to get pictures taken. My breaking point was this past summer when I was tanning in a salon. While I was dressing I looked in the mirror and seen how big I was. I was shocked. I decided right then I didn't want to be that big anymore. I went to my local gym the next day to check it out. I have been going ever since. I have now lost 50 hard pounds. This has been the hardest thing for me to do. Not only have I had to change my eating habits but I had to change my lifestyle. Some may say that's not hard but for someone who has never been active it was very hard. I've never been the person to count calories and care what I eat. Now I do just that. I have been using myfitnesspal and recently got a fit it flex bracelet. I love it. These 2 things have helped me so much with changing my lifestyle. My Facebook friend told me about this sight so I decided to check it out. I am happy I did. Really want to meet new people with the same goals and struggles I have. I still have want to lose about 80 pounds but I have come along way.
