I usually try to get to the park when the sun starts coming up. It's cooler and there are not as many people there. I just couldn't bring myself to go this morning, especially since we didn't get home until almost midnight. My husband got bit by a dog yesterday so we were in the E.R. last night. I went tonight after dinner, though.

Have you thought about rewarding yourself? Like if you get up every morning for a week, at the end of that week you treat/reward yourself? It could be an incentive and give you something to look forward to. Good luck to you! I know you can find your get up and go, again. I have faith in you.

emoticon I must admit, I'm a bit envious of your "morning" success there :)

My alarm goes off at 5:50am every morning, and I did great when I first started getting up at that time. Then, my zeal left and I slacked off. This past month I have been trying to stop hitting the snooze button, but I just can't seem to break the habit. Keep up the great work!

Thank you so much! It feels good to be back.

That's true. I just got through doing my strength training. I'll probably go for a walk at the park after dinner. I've been bit by the Spark bug because I normally wouldn't do anything but I've been keeping up with my exercise this week. I'm proud of myself.

I set my alarm for 6 a.m. the other day to go to the park and walk. I woke up and my brain said, I really don't want to go and I think I'll go back to bed. I went to use the bathroom and the next thing I know, I'm brushing my teeth and getting ready to go to the park, anyway. lol

My name is Andrea. I'm 38 years old and have one 17 year old son and two angel babies. I'm currently married but waiting on the divorce to be finalized. I've been a member of SP since 2008. At my highest weight I was 223. I lost 33 lbs. thanks to SP and hard work. I've been on and off since then and have gained some of the weight back. I'm trying to get myself back on track because I want to lose all of the weight I intended to when I first started. I have neglected myself for far too long. However, today I did both Cardio and Strength Training. It's been awhile since I've done that so it felt good to push myself and get it done.

I hope to find some wonderful people in this group so that we can support and encourage each other. We are worth it!
