Hi! I have been a member for more than a year but truly here for a few months. During this time I discovered that I really like doing exercises and the idea of a day challenge is very interesting and will surely not be monotone.

Hi! I've been kicking, walking, jumping, swimming, and wiggling around SparkPeople for about three years now. Seems short when I think about it. Anyway, I do water aerobics four times a week, I lead one day, and then I walk 1 mile every day with my DH. I do land aerobics if the weather is windy or rainy or cold (outdoor pool - Fl) and it adds up. I do need a challenge to get me off my desk chair (I write books - just published & do computer work for a company part time). I try to move every two hours but I'm not perfect, and I need to drink more liquid. I have never like water so I have to force myself to drink. I became an exercise junkie when I had a problem with my trochanteric bursas (hips) and I had to do PH (physical therapy) for them. Before that, exercise was a four letter word, walk - jogg - runn - swim - Yukk!
Now, obviously - I learned how to do that, but there are other things I am working on and need help. So, here I am looking for the Quick Fire Challenge to get me to drinking liquids, and moving more often. Oh! I do go for a walk, if I'm working out some storyline, but not as often as I should. It would, afterall, create a exercise junkie beyond control if I walked another mile in a day! (LOL).

That's me, for now. I'll go look at the daily challenge and check it out now.

Hi! I want to thank LEEPFROG95 for stopping by my page and inviting me to join this team challenge. I have recebtly began to revamp my teams and shake up my workouts to try and get to the next level. I'm still working with an overstressed body due to prolonged illness and insomnia, but I am working with a team of health specialists to get past these issues. I just want to be healthy, fit, and I want to look hot! I just have to do it in baby steps. Today, perhaps, I will probably only get 50 or 75 modified pushups in...along with my yoga. Considering I have a migraine and a doctor's visit this afternoon, I'd say that's not a bad start.

Hi -- I'm Martha and just joined tonight. Too late to do today's challenge, but I'll be sure to start tomorrow morning! I have 2 daughters. I thought the "hard one" was the one we sent to college a couple years ago -- until the "easy one" got to her senior year in HS this year. Now have changed my mind. The stress this one is causing is 10x worse than the other daughter, and it's making me gain weight! What to do?! Hope this team helps.

emoticon I'm Deb from MA and just stopped by in response to Mic's invitation on my Sparkpage - thank you Mic!

Being a working wife and mom to 3 teens and preteens fitting regular strength training and exercise in is not easy. One of my other teams has similar daily challenges to what you seem to have here - and I find it easier to break away from my desk and fit in some reps throughout the day than a big block of time.

Looking forward to some quickfire!

QuickFires are quick bursts of energy, as you do
the various exercises ! There is lots of variety.
We do a different exercise every day.The exercise
gets repeated, in a few sessions, each day.

Hi, I'm Trinity from WV! I haven't been on spark in 8 months and also have not worked out in 8 months either. Been through Hell and back, but that's not an excuse not to exercise!

I just bought The Spark book and ordered Jillian Michaels' 30-Day Shred. I am pressed for time being a first-year teacher and mom to a 3-year-old so working out at home works for me.

I don't know anything about this group. I was attracted to it because it's quick! Please someone tell me more about it!

Howdy !
I'm PRAIRIECROCUS (Bev) from Manitoba, Canada.
I have Multiple Sclerosis, which is really helped
by physical activity ! (especially swimming, which
is always cool enough for me !) Of course, with M.S.,
there are many things that I cannot do, such as
jumping jacks and burpees ! (and running !)
