I've never really figured out the team forums so I'm giving it a shot here!

Family? 2 teenage boys at home and 3 step children that are all raised up and on their own with their own families....4 grandkids from 20 months to 12 yo
Are you employed? Yuppers.

What are your FAST BREAK GOALS? Drink 8 glasses of water. Exercise at least 10 min/day.

Any thing else you want us to know?
I keep trying to lose weight and I'm sure I'm just as frustrated as many others. Lost 50 pounds with a special weight loss medical program and have gained it all back. I do well in the daytime and just seem to pour in the food in the evening....I'm still trying to figure out how not to do that! I work 12 hour shifts and eat breakfast at 6am and lunch between 12-2pm and then get home about 8pm. I don't always have time to take my 15 minute supper break but even when I do I still go home and eat a ton! I'm hoping the water drinking will help but any other suggestions would be great!

Aloha My name is Susan. I have never worried about my weight until I had a child 20 years ago. I have never returned to my trim figure. I have been exercising and eating good for 1 month now. But I find my weight is not moving. I lost 8 lbs the first 2 weeks. and I am stuck at the same weight for the last 2 weeks. What can I do to keep loosing??? I do the elipitical for 30 min. a day. I grow a huge garden and eat fresh. The fish is right out of the ocean. What can I do???? Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii.

I'm a second generation emotional/overeater. My mom has never been able to overcome her problems with food. I'm hoping to break the cycle before I incur her health problems or my daughter learns my bad habits. I have ALOT to lose so I'm setting mini goals..ie: 15 pounds by the end of May. I have a really hard time losing and keeping weight off. Probably more the keeping part due to PCOS. Hopefully a new Dr. will be able to help me with some new ideas.

I wasn't sure how to get the weight chart in here (sorry, technically challenged) but Im looking to lose 18 pounds by the first week of July. I haven't weighed in after the first week yet.

This time my "wanting to get healthy" is coming from a place of satisfaction with the current circumstances in my life, not out of "desperation" with my life. If this makes sense! I am in a satisfying relationship, with a man who loves me for WHO I AM not how skinny I am. Besides, I am realizing quickly how dangerous weight around the belly button is, and really want to work hard to make these changes part of my LIFE and part of my future. Slow and steady....never thought that would be me, but surprisingly that is how I want it, and how I know I will sustain permanent life changes. Looking forward to meeting all of you!

I joined Spark People because I am very overweight (let's face it, obese). I need to lose about 100 pounds but find it extremely difficult as I suffer from PCOS. Those of you familiar with it know that among many other symptoms, weight loss is extremely difficult. I rarely eat and may calorie intake is usually less than 1500. In training dogs, I am hardly sedentary, but still, have difficulty losing the weight. I gained the weight with each of my pregnancies and have not been able to get it off. I am at my heaviest now, than I have ever been. I hate being fat, not fitting into many of my favorite shirts any longer and having difficulty training my dogs or instructing classes without becoming tired and out of breath.

I am really looking forward to talking with you all and learning how to get the weight off and keep it off so I can enjoy playing with my kids and dogs again!

Good afternoon all,
My name is John but you can call me anything you like
Ha,ha,ha.

I'm living in the United States, specifically New York state, Yonkers to be exact.

My birthday is during the first month of the year,12th day

I'm single but have a girlfriend, she's from Ireland. I will be visiting Ireland in July for a bicycle tour from Southeast county Kerry to Southern County Cork. for 9 days.
I have a large family,18 nephews and nieces,5 grand nephews. They keep me busy when I have the chance to be there.

No longer employed due to serious accident at a job site. Broke my cervical spine in 3 places, my Thoracic spine in 3 places and finally, the lumbar spine in 4 places. & one bone in the sacrum.
It's taken me a while,but I'm back at physical therapy twice a week and a normal cardio exercise period both days. the next exercise date is on a beautiful day like today. A long walk to the park and back.

what are my "fast break goals"
To loose twenty pounds by July, I'm at 12 pounds so far, and I know I'll make it,with a little help from my friends.
