Hi my name is Celia and I am excited to start this program. I have about 60 lbs total to lose.

2 weeks ago I started going to gym during lunch (cardio, 30 mins., 5x a week)I think this bootcamp will be just what I need to develop a strength training routine.

Although I've made some comments elsewhere, here is me emoticon .

Ny name is Dan. I'm joining this in an attempt to break my plateau, which is now starting to rise instead of remaining flat. Two years ago I had a heart attack and weighed 225 pounds. By Thanksgiving of 2008 I weighed 192 pounds. Then I had some surgery which required me to not exercise (except walking) for a month. I gained ten pounds, and until this week was pretty stable at 202. Today I weighed in at 205. So much for making my goal of 190 by June. Anyway, I hope this works, or at least gives me some help to modify my routine (which has ceased working).

Knowledge is for sharing... except for your password!

Hi everyone, I'm Christine and I live in Manhattan. I am close to goal. More accurately I've been close to goal for a while now. So I'm looking forward to this BootCamp. I did the one in January and had terrific success with it. I bought the ball and weights for that one. I have one band with handles. I hope that's going to do it. I have clothes in my closet that are too tight. If I can get into them by July, I'll be a happy camper. I'll be away this weekend but I'll be right in there Monday.

Hi, My name is Danielle and this is my first bootcamp. I'm still getting use to the site, so excuse me if it takes me awhile to figure things out.
I live in Colorado and we are still getting snow.
I would like to lose about 30-40 pounds but more than just the weight I want to be comfortable in my own skin. I lost the weight before but was been hard to keep it off.

Last May I did the Swimsuit Bootcamp & it really helped in both my weight loss and in toning.

This year I have managed to keep the weight of (7 months now!), but I still need lots of toning. It's pretty amazing how the muscles & skin don't bounce back once you're a little older (I'm 59).

Looking forward to this challenge!

Hi fellow Sparkers :) I'm Leah. I live in Central FL. Grew up in PA. I'm recently engaged & planning a wedding for 10-10-10 at Biltmore Estate in NC.

I'm excited for this challenge as well. I joined a month or so ago as part of a "get fit" effort with some other brides getting married the same month as me. But then I really got hooked on it. :) I love the articles & it really has motivated me to watch what I eat (since I can visually see the numbers now) & to track my workouts.

I've always weighed more in numbers than I look. which isn't a horrible problem to have, I suppose. haha. So my goal is more about getting toned & in shape than losing a particular number.

Currently, I'm 150 lbs.
My measurements are:
Bust- 40
Waist- 30
Hips- 39

Hello all! Just wanted to say a quick hi! I live in Texas and we have a REALLY long swimsuit season that is going to start soon! (eek!!!) So it's time to kick it in high gear! Hi everyone. I am a die-hard SP person. I visit the site almost daily and have been logging nutrition and fitness for close to a year. I am 55 years old,,, my goals are:
lose 15 more pounds.... I have already lost 5.
incorporate strength training in my fitness routine
get better at changing both nutrition and fitness at least every 6 weeks.

I am your basic apple shape with all the flab around the mid section. I have noticed my thighs and arms are starting to get jiggly too. YUCK.
I quit smoking 5 years ago and stopped dying my hair. Two healthy steps forward. Now to conquer losing the weight and more importantly the flab. I have learned alot of about eating properly and the value of staying active. I love SP and learn something new all the time.
I have not taken a challenge seriously yet - so I"m psyching myself up to be religious about doing this one.
Looking forward to getting to know you all and supporting each other as we go along. If you're over 50 come and visit us on the plus 50 with 10-24 pounds to lose team. Its a super team.

GOODMORNING TO ALL,

Hi, I'm new to this team! I have a 15 year anniversary coming up on May 27 and I want to look good for our anniversary picture. I live a boat ride away from the beach and would like to go out in a bikini for the first time since I was 18 (now 32). I hope this team will help motivate me on a daily basis. Hi all! My name is Dwan and I'm from Hilton Head, SC...which, for those of you who don't know, has more swimsuit days than your average local and swimsuit season has already started here. I have lost abut 45 lbs in the last year +...but I still have about 30 more to go and the stomach area is my stubborn problem area. I am excited to join this team and hope that it will help me out with this problem area. I already have a solid routine and my legs and upper body are very toned...it's that middle section that stinks....Ready to get started! I was very glad to see this bootcamp starting. I did the New You bootcamp and it really helped get me jump started. I've been maintaining but not really going anywhere this past month. Hi everyone. I did the Bootcamp in January and lost 9 pounds. Since then I've lost only another 10-11 pounds. I need to rev up things and get my metabolism going. Can't wait to start.
