I am mostly working on walking to get started

Hello All,
I'm looking forward to the challenge as well as getting back to focusing on me. I've recently started a new job, completed grad school and spend a majority of my time racing my two children to their events. Hey my name is Jade and Im from Los Angeles. Im 21 years bomb and quite frankly, Im tired of being this darnm big. So this year I deceded that 2010 was the year to get rid of all the extra weight (emotional included) and give myself a new life and a new look. To stay motivated I've signed up for tiger fit boot camp. Its quite fun from what I got at the orientation. Also on jan 1st im chucking all the junk food in the house and replacing it with healthy whole foods. Although Im not the grand of a cook, I plan to learn how to cover the basics. Im also doing bi monthly updates with pics so you guys can track my progress with me and hopefully join the journey. Good Luck to all my fellow sparkers and congrats on starting the journey.

I'm the mother of a one-year-old girl and an almost three-year-old boy. I telecommute daily, so anything that gets me moving and out from in front of the computer for a set amount of time each day is a good thing. Bring on the Boot Camp!

Hi! I'm tif, or Sparkles, as I go by both names. I'm a 28 year old grad student who also works so I stay pretty busy. My goals aren't to lose any weight (as I don't have any to lose!), but to get fit and toned and have a regular fitness routine. Getting rid of the belly flab would be nice too. emoticon

Hi my name is Karin. Last year I did good on loosing weight for a long time until I hit a plateau around May. I kept worked really hard on my calorie intake and exercised every day until the end of August, but I did not lose an ounce, I became so frustrated and discouraged I just gave up. But when I took a close look at myself last week I could not belief how many pounds (12 lbs.)have been sneaking up on me. Okay, I said, this is it, a new year and a new start, and that's why I am here. I need support on my new journey.............

Hi everyone. I'm Shannon. I am happily married and the mom of 2 boys.. Jody is my oldest he is 21 and Sean is my baby he is 5. I also have a 9 yr old shih tzu named muffin. Last month I went to a new Dr and he is the greatest!! I am now on a 1500 calorie a day plan and do exercise regularly. In the last 5 1/2 weeks I have lots 29lbs!!! I am very proud of myself!!

Hi I'm Renee. I'm a mother of 2 teenagers. I've lost 10 lbs and have about another 40 - 50 to go. I'm taking it 10 lbs at a time. I was exercising regularly but had to stop until I got permission from my cardiologist. I got that last week, she told me to get up off my hinny and exercise. Hoping bootcamp will get me going again.

Hi! I am Liz. I am a single mother of 2 girls. I am going through my divorce it will be final some time in Feb. Since I have been back in Texas in the last 8 months I have lost 40 to 45 pounds. I have another 70 I want to lose. Please Help keep me motivated. I am so wanting to get going with my weight loss again, and what better way to do it than with help from a challenge. I am going to buy the wii fit plus by the 1st so that will help with my workouts, I have the slim in 6 and the turbo jam videos too. I just need to buckle down and do something. Hi. I'm Amalia. I live in Prince Edward Island, Canada. I'm 23 years old and will be 24 by the end of this boot camp. I have been an on again off again member of Sparkpeople since 2007. I took a sabbatical to finish my BA this September and I am happy to report that I am officially finished. I am going to take the next year of my life to focus on just me and to work on getting healthy and in shape. I think this bootcamp is a great way to get started. So...I already ordered the book - I'm hoping I can do this starting Jan 3, 2010.
