Hi All,
My name is Lisa and I heard about sparkpeople from my girlfriend in New Mexico. I am a school administrator and need to lose 30 lbs to get healthier and lower my cholesterol, fasting blood sugar. This seems like the place to meet this goal!

Hey Everyone,
I was doing so well on my workout, and in November my life became busy and exercise took a back seat. I have regained a few pounds, but I am ready to take back control with the help of my Spark friends! Cathy

Hi, my name is Terri. I have been with Spark People for almost a year. My emoticon wake up call. I just wasted another year and I'm still at the same place as I started.
A new day a new start!!! I need to dig deep into myself and use the determination I know I have inside myself.

Hi - I am Karen, and I joined SPARK a few months ago and then "fell off the wagon." "Santa" granted my wish for a Wii Fit for Christmas, and that was a wake-up call, so I'm excited to kick off 2010 with Boot Camp. Looking forward to the motivation I know I'll get from this team

Hi. I'm 44 years old and have already lost 21 pounds on SP. I am not good at strength training and I am inconsistent with walking, so I thought this would be a great way to get into better shape. I hope to maybe lose 11 more pounds. I can't wait to get started.

I've lost motivation and gained pounds. I'm looking forward to reversing that and hopefully to get into the exercise habit.

Hi everyone I am 36 and fell of the wagon again. I really want to stick to my plan this time & think the bootcamp will help me. I am tired of getting on the wagon only to fall off a month or two afterwards. I want to stick to a plan & be with positive people that will help me through this. I have some negative people in my life & am working on getting them out. So if anyone has some advice please feel free to share. I am hoping to lose like 40 pounds so think the bootcamp will put me in the right direction to start off with this upcoming year.

Hi All.

I am not new to SP but returning. I need to lose 80lbs. I am not unhealthy, however I can end up that way if I do not do something about it now. I am determined to get it done. I just need to get moving but I cannot get it done alone.
This looks like the place for me. I look forward to making it through this bootcamp with you all.

Hi all,
My name is Kathy. I am 45, and looking to loss a 100lb for health reasons. I am new to sparks so Please feel free to add me to your Sparks friends. I want to be healthier because I am at the point that my three kids are almost grown. My youngest will be 18 in a couple of months. I have home schooled all three of my children, and that has been my main goal. so health was put on the back burner for way too long.

Hi all. This is the second time I've tried one of these SparkPeople Boot camps, and I'm really going to need some help keeping at it. I have a crazy busy life with two 3-year-old children and a husband who's on the road all the time for work. I'm hoping to find some help reaching my goals this time.

Hi folks! Trying to get back on track and looking for a little extra motivation, so I'm going to try this bootcamp (have had good success with these in the past). I've got my own plans as well, but this will be a good supplement, I think. Looking forward to getting back into the 150s by the end of January!!!

Well, DREESE0421 took the words right out of my mouth.

I've been a member of SparkPeople for quite a while, but never fully committed to it. I'd track for a while, then fall off the wagon, then go back to tracking for a while, but never with enough consistency to make it worthwhile.

It's time to step up and make the changes I've known I need to make for years but haven't made the effort to do so.

2010 is my year!

Hi folks ~ I have been on Spark for exactly one year tomorrow, New Years eve. I have family who are visiting who have not seen me in a year and were really surprised when the slimmer more toned me greeted them at the door. I look forward to them joining Spark and I also look forward to Sparking in 2010.

Hi, I just joined bootcamp as I need a kick in the pants to get back on track. I was doing well, had foot surgery, went through a depression and gained most of my lost weight back not to mention lost all my newly gained strength. Hope this boot camp does the trick. emoticon

Hi, I'm Mary Beth and can't wait to get started with the bootcamp. I have done pretty well so far but I did backslide a bit over the past 2 months. I have a pretty slow metabolism from hypothyroidism so I hope this bootcamp will help me kick it into gear a little more.

Hi, my name is Vicki and I'm 47 years old, married with two kids (ages 8 and 6, as of today!) I've been on SP for about a year, hit my goal weight last summer and am about 4-5 pounds over it now. Holidays were rough and didn't exercise for about two weeks. Back at it the last two days and I thought the boot camp would help me get back into the daily routine! Good luck, everyone! emoticon

Hi- I'm Melissa. I've only been on SP about a month...still not perfect but trying to get the hang of the website and all it has to offer. I am really impressed with all of the support and the way that the points make things fun. I've dieted on and off for years and really want to "get off the diet rollercoaster." Nice to be here and I agree with Kim- this should be a nice way to start the new year.
