Good luck Lilypad.. You can do it!! Just remember, you can do anything for 15 mins, but if you have to, break it into 7 mins. Go for a quick walk or jump rope... Maybe jumping jacks or wall push ups. Whatever it you do, just remember that it's that much more than you've done otherwise!

I personally just bought some resistance bands to take with me on vacation later this week. I'm also planning to use them to do some exercises during commercial breaks and while waiting for dinner to cook.

I am just watching the second episode of the biggest loser. I so need to lose weight, but I somehow lack motivation. I feel like I have so much to do and so little time. Making healthy meals regularly just isn't happening. My house is full of junk food that I keep eating. We adopted a dog who is scared of strangers, so walking him is a chore and we are starting obedience & behaviour modification training soon - one more thing on my list, plus daily training with him to get him over this fear. I need to get over myself and make my health a priority. I am hoping that watching the biggest loser will help to push me in the right direction. My son is almost 11 and he deserves for me to feed him properly.

Thanks everyone for the welcome! This week has been busy for me, so I've only watched the show on Sunday. So far I really like it! But I can't believe someone already quit though!!!

My name is Dana and I'm 32 from NJ... I've been wanting to lose weight and become healthier for most of my adult life, but these past few months things finally clicked in my head.

I've gone from wishing and dreaming of what it would look like to be healthy, to actually acknowledging my behavior and reasons for doing it. And most importantly, I'm taking the steps to make the change I've always wanted. It's crazy, but all of a sudden, things that I used to crave no longer call out to me...

I'm a huge fan of the Biggest Loser and I hope to make many friends on this team. I'm hoping that I can use the weekly shows as a source of motivation and accountability. I plan on weighing in every Sunday, starting today *gulp* and tracking my progress... I hope to be down about 30 lbs by the finale. I want to set mini-goals, although I kinda suck at setting rewards.

What are your goals? Do you set mini-rewards, and if so, what do you use? How do you plan to reach them? What have you found to be the most helpful in your journey? And if anyone wants to be spark buddies or just chat/email/msg daily, weekly, etc, I'm up for it! I know that some days I'm gonna need a kick in the rear :) emoticon emoticon
