Welcome to the team. Unfortunately, you can't eliminate dairy from the tracker. (We have been asking and pushing for years to no avail.) They must get some of their advertising money from the dairy industry, is my guess, because I see many dairy advertisements on the site. So you have to just ignore the dairy suggestions or replace with non-diary options. I never used the meal plans on Spark for just that reason. Happy Herbivore has meal plans that people like. You have to buy them at a few dollars a week. But I hear that they save money in not throwing away unused veggies and stuff. But with 7 children, I don't imagine you throw much food away at your house.
2 slip ups in 5 months is really great! Congrats. Unhealthy carbs are hard to stay away from sometimes. I too slip up with them from time to time but making meals ahead on the weekend and having the brown rice and whole wheat bread in the house and only having healthy no oil baked corn tortillas around to cook with help me know I have healthy choices to make if I want to snack. Fatfreevegan.com, happyhervivore.com, protectivediet.com are three websites for recipes I use all of the time for recipes.
