I'm with Debbie on this. No one should tackle an eating disorder without medical help. You just told us you bulimic and that stuff can kill you in the long run so, get thee to an MD pronto...

Consider losing less weight for a longer period. Studies show that slow steady weight loss is much more likely to be maintained in the long run. So you get off the yo-yo. I really think that you will continue to have this problem until you are properly treated. This is serious and you need to get a medical intervention. Make sure they know about your diet plans and your vomiting quick weight loss method. You should be getting your throat and teeth (and maybe heart) checked for damage.. I don't want to be negative. I just want you to get help because people who get help and who stick with getting help when they need it can beat what you've got...

Your goal may be setting you up for failure. Twelve pounds a month is high...very high. Taking it off slowly has better chances of staying off...and the purging... that's unhealthy in and of itself. You may want to consider counseling for that.

I wish you the best of luck...but you may want to reconsider your strategy before embarking on this journey.

Hi Niki, Welcome to the team. I hope you do well on your journey. The best thing you can do is take it one day at a time and stop inducing vomitting. This is the worst thing you can do,it can do damage to your throat, my sister used to do this and it almost killed her. Quick weight loss is bad for us. Inducing vomitting is even worst. You need to see a Dr..
And Perhaps a psychological counselor. You need to realize that eating right is ahrd work and you have to control yourself. there si no magic to being healthy. Talk to your Dr.

Quick weight loss is a TEMPORARY and FALSE fix - IT DOESN'T LAST, IT ISN'T REAL AND IT ISN'T HEALTHY. First work on keeping calm and realistic - talk yourself through your frazzled moments and get on the Sparks website. We are all getting used taking the weight loss slow, but it is working and we are all healthier for it.

hey guys, i need some seriious support its like i have a yo-yo weight. i gain weight easily and lose weight easily. I get depressed when i gain weight and i induce vomitting to lose weight quick. I need someone around me who can give me sound advice and check up on me to make sure i lose the weight. the last time i weighed i was 184. i went up to 192 and i was like ohhhhh hell no, i dont want that. im almost 200. my dream weight is 120 and i want to lose atleast 12 pds a month. i need help, desperate help. i dont like running so i do turbo jam or taebo, i get more result with turbo quicker than with taebo, with taebo, you just feel sexier, but the scale dont say much quick.
