Welcome. I find I eat more when I am happy if my resolve is down because of alcohol I have consumed. So, I have tried to really restrict wine, etc.

i found that tracking is best thing for me.....unfortunately i don't track like i should...so i need help also

Welcome, Jaime. I've heard of people like you, but you may be the first I've ever encountered first-hand. That is, people who eat overboard when they're happy rather than down. I'm a low-mood overeater and can think of only two times in my life when I had no appetite when things were bad.

Hi, I'm Jaime and absolutely and emotional eater! I hardly eat when I'm sad. I actually lose my appetite if I'm feeling down, but when I'm in a great mood, like when the weekend comes, all I wanna do is EAT! It's very hard to stay on track because of this.

I have had many start overs and I always end up back at this exact place in my life; wanting to lose weight. So I know I just need to do it instead of being in this circle I'm always in. I'm hoping that SparkPeople will be help me stay on track.
