My mind and body work together.
Anything I LOSE, my mind wants to FIND.
Therefore, I now TAKE OFF the weight.
(Since I'm choosing not to re-find it.)
This has allowed me to shed ~ 60#.

Have a TERRIFIC day!

Hello, Michelle! We are all trying to find ways to deal with the same issues you are - so I can relate. I found if I brush my teeth right after I eat dinner, it seems to help me avoid snacks after. Must be something in my brain that says "eating is over for the day". Also, I have made a list of small tasks to have at the ready to tackle when I am on the verge of boredom eating - like putting a bag of clothes together for charity, dusting some shelves I don't normally get to - just small tasks that keep me busy, get me past the food craving and give me a sense of accomplishment. Finally, I have been doing Intermittent Fasting since 8/1 with good results (5:2 schedule). An unexpected benefit is being more conscious of the food I do eat, rather than it being mindless. Having a couple of days a week where my brain and body are clear of processing food has improved my general outlook and sense of well being. Hope my tips give you some food for thought. All the best. Sherrie

Hello, my name is MIchelle, and I am a mogher of two children under 5 years. I emotionally eat when stressed or sometimes just eat out of boredom. Im hoping to combat the emotional eating once and for all, because its really affecting my weight loss. Its going up and down alot, when i rather it just go down or atleast stable.
