Elsa - The first few days are definitely the toughest. If you lost 35# before you know the diet well. I would suggest eating protein and the cleansing veggies when you get hungry around 2 pm. How about some natural almonds? And maybe some yogurt? I also keep hard boiled eggs on hand for a quick easy protein snack. Another strategy is to make yourself some green tea, preferably in flavor you really enjoy. Lately I have been enjoying a peppermint green tea, and I find it very satisfying. Of course drinking your water throughout the day is helpful too. I know you probably already know these things, but really the basics are what hold this diet together in my opinion. Good luck. Let us know how you are doing. Your cruise sounds delightful and great motivation to drop the pounds you want to lose. emoticon

Hi Everyone,

My name is Elsa (ecgmom). I have tried everyday this week to make it through day 1, unfortunately by 2pm, I'm eating something that is not on plan.

I've lost 35# on the 17dd before and I really like the way I feel and the food plan fits into my life style.

We're going on a cruise in the summer and I would like to be 40# lighter by then! I don't want to take the chance of sinking the ship emoticon . Seriously, there's going to be a lot of walking and it would be a lot more fun if I weighed less.

I'm obviously really struggling this time because I can't make it through one day.

Any motivation tips (or kick in the pants) would be grateful!

Anyone want to be my buddy?
