Lin - I am so glad you still "visit" with us from time to time! You are always welcome here.

Cindi - So glad you are back. I too modify the 17 DD to fit my life. I have lost a total of 50 pounds following this plan. I gained some back but dropped 20+ in fall 2017 and for a while have just been "maintaining. I know that when I am compliant I do well, and I like the structure this plan provides, even when I am not 100% on track. You were always an asset on this team, so I am delighted to see you here. It has been pretty quiet from time to time here, and there are only a handful of us who post with any regularity, but I always learn from others here and am inspired by this group.

Welcome back and good luck. I no longer follow the plan. I did the first 17 days and was successful but failed after that. Have you ever heard of Trim Healthy Mama? Now that is a great and life long plan. Check it out.

Hello.
I was here back in 2013/2014. I have both the books and had some really good success following the diet. I'm going to admit to start with that the 17 Day Diet isn't my only program. I adapt and modify my diet where needed. I chose the 17 Day Diet because I needed something that gave me a structure that I need. Don't let anyone fool you. You can still gain weight on eating too much healthy food. I like how easy it is with the 17 Day Diet to remember everything with it. While I track my food daily I like the idea of having something that is easy to follow without obsessing over numbers. I like the idea of cycling which I do on a schedule that works for me. While I can do the diet without this team, I remember what a good team this was and how being part of the team made following the diet easier.
Saying all that, I am happy to be back and look forward to being part of this team.
