How are you doing, Emily and Qrky? Hope you're transitioning to keto/low carb easily. Let us know if you have any questions.

Emily and Qrky: hello and welcome.
I had done keto about a year and a half ago – then had back surgery and just went crazy eating and pretty much gained back what I had lost. I’m trying to get back to low carb/keto again.

I too have fallen off the wagon since joining this team and I also made sure that I stayed connected by posting what I actually ate and keeping up with the team’s monthly challenges…..

Welcome, Emily and Qrky. I surely do understand the all or nothing attitude. We're very accepting here on this team. When I have fallen off the wagon (really really really far off the wagon!), I've kept on posting to this team. Sometimes that was the only "good" thing I did, but I did it. And it kept me connected enough to low carb that coming back was pretty easy.

Emily and Qrky, welcome to you both. I started LC over five years ago because I was prediabetic. It keeps my A1c in the normal range so my motivation is high, but motivation is a funny thing--it comes and goes. To deal with that, I needed to do a lot of planning and small things as I worked up to bigger things. Habits take time, but to me, were worth it. Good wishes on your health journeys.

Hang on, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

Hi Emily! I've also restarted a Keto diet after being off it for a couple of months at the end of last year. I completely understand the all or nothing attitude - that and a serious lack of motivation are my greatest weaknesses! emoticon

Hello All,

My name is Emily and I am currently following a Ketogenic diet. I have been on one type or another LC diet over the last couple of decades with some great success but unfortunately my all of nothing attitude has caused me to fall off the wagon repeatedly.

Here's hoping 2020 my year :)
