Back on track. The January boot camp worked well for me. I tried to follow it up with the New You and was derailed by elder parent issues. Now on track with the Spring camp and combining it with new you. It is finally warming up here so am out side more.

Hi my name is Joyce, I have been a spark member for awhile now. I have lost 70+ pounds to date and have reached a plateau. I am switching things up and trying to get back on a loss. I have at least 15 more pounds to go to reach my next goal.

Hello! I'm Valerie and I've been a member of SparkPeople but I checked out for awhile. I've been faithful with Weight Watchers but I'm finding myself at somewhat of a standstill. I've lost 135 pounds and have about 5 more to go to reach my goal but I believe I need to mix things up for awhile to get out of a rut and get some much needed change. So....here I am!

Hello everyone, my name is Laura & I'm new to SP. I have recently quit smoking & have gained some weight. (not happy.lol) I am new to this entire workout / watching my weight thing & have a hard time getting & staying motivated, Part of the reason is even though I know differently, I expect / want to see results NOW. (yes impatient at times) I hope that the next challenge will be coming soon,I would like to try it & hopefully that will kick me into gear to keep me going.

My job is also very difficult & stressful & makes it very hard some days to work out but I would like to change that somehow. Am also lookign for a workout buddy, anyone live in the Deland, Fl area?

Thank you for letting me rambel & I hope to chat with you all soon.

Hi i'm Katie. I'm a mother of an 18 month old little boy. I'm working on getting my pre-baby body back as best as I can. I love the swimsuit bootcamp workouts, they're so easy to follow and I can definitely feel the exercises working.

Hi everyone, my name is Tricia. I have actually joined SP today, and have already started inputting on todays workouts and diet! I have had issues with losing weight for a while, and I am hoping this site can help me change my habits and give great tips. I mainly joined to lose the weight that I have gained in the last 2 years, also to get ready for the summer season (what better challenge to start with!) emoticon

Hey my name is Katie...I have been a member of SP for about 2 years off and on. My little sister is getting married in August and my older sister, mother, and I are having a little weight loss competition to see which one of us can lose the most weight by the wedding. I totally plan on kicking their butts but turned to SP for a little extra help. I saw this challenge and thought it would be perfect. We shall see how it goes!!!

Hi. I am Maya and I have been subscribing SP for sometime, mainly for healthy food tips. I stumbled upon a mail about this and decided to join as I have started regularly exercising for about two weeks now that only consist of cycling and walking. My problem area is my lower body and am excited to try this bootcamp to tone these problem areas. Nice to meet you all! :)

Hi everyone I'm Patricia. I've been with SP for a while however I am just coming back after being gone for about a year trying to go it alone. I am really excited to get back to my plan. The last time I was here I lost 50 pounds. I thought I had it under control so I left SP and gained 25 pounds. I've been working hard to get back down but decided I needed help again. Thank goodness SP is always there ready to take you back

Hi Everyone! My name is Erin and I've been using SP for quite some time...although it's helped me become more aware of what I'm eating, I fell off the exercise wagon a year ago and want to get back on!

I have been using sparkpeople since the beginning of the year. BUT I Have been having trouble staying with it. I Would get really into to for a couple weeks, then fade off into fat land again! But I want to reach my end goal weight by my 21st birthday, and if I dont start now, and stay commited I will never reach that goal. Starting things off slow then building up, so I dont kill myself the 1st couple of weeks, which I think has been my problem in the past!! I'm in it for the long haul this time... No Exception, No Excuses!
Could use any and all buddies to keep me motivated!!!
Other than that, Have a Beautiful day!!!!

Joining a bit late in the month, but I'm excited to be a part of this team. The commitment to the daily videos and the 5 30-minute cardio workouts keeps me motivated. This is actually my 3rd challenge. I really enjoyed the 2 others! Looking forward to a great 4 weeks.

I joined this challenge two weeks ago and then left last week - due to busy busy busy - I had finals and other things going on - I am back and committed to getting through these next four weeks focusing on changing my body!

I have been on the treadmill for 10 weeks now increasing my walking weekly..except last week. (I had 3 surgeries since Dec. - I am ready to PUSH myself)
I am down one pant size..woohoo!

I hope to be down another at the end of this challenge!

HI all, I am somewhat new to SP and have not had a chance to respond to any postings. I too have had work come in the way plus some health problems. Now am hoping to put those issues aside and get to my real goal of losing weight and getting healthier at the same time. Am hoping to gain lots of friends and encouragement at the same time while talking to you all.

I've bounced in and out of SP for quite a while but I let my work hours keep me from focusing on exercise. So guess what - I gained a ton of weight, got sick, and now I'm not working. So I'm working my way back to regular exercise and really trying to consistently focus on getting my health my #1 priority.

This is a great challenge because it appears that even someone at my level can get a good workout while those in better shape can be challenged also.

My goals are to consistently workout every day - maybe only for the ten minutes at first but consistency is my main focus. Once I get the pattern going I'm sure I'll be able to ramp it up!

Even if you fall on your face, you're still moving forward.

Hi all! I'm really excited to get started! I'm relatively new to the diet/exercise world, as I've been stick-thin my whole life, even considered anorexic. After baby #2, however, it's a different story! It's been difficult for me to change my eating habits, because I'm so used to being able to eat anything, anytime, without gaining any weight. I'm only a few BMI points from being considered overweight, so I'll be working my butt off (literally, lol) to stay at a healthy weight. Any tips/tricks/pointers about this challenge are much appreciated! Good luck to everyone!

I've been on and off sparkpeople for about a year, and I've been focused for the last month. I'm finally starting to use the fantastic support system this place provides, which I feel has helped me a lot. :] After being sick for two weeks I was having some difficulties, but I figure that there's no better way to kickstart things than getting into a challenge.
I love friends, so please feel free to add me!

Good luck to everyone!

Now that finals are almost over, I have more time to devote to my health! I was on Spark People last summer and managed to lose a lot of weight. But after I got married and started college I got pretty overwhelmed with my new duties and put nutrition on the back burner. However, it's defiantly time to put my feelings of failure and inadequacy to the side and start doing something for MYSELF again. Joining this group is going to help me with the push I need to move forward! I hope to make new friends here too! So if you want a buddy, don't be shy send me a PM. Maybe we can exchange IM's or something too! :D

Have a wonderful day,

Cassie

This is my first challenge, I was just doing my own thing, but needed a change up, new exercise routine and love the short videos, making it easier to add them to what I do already! Looking forward to the rest of the month now that week 2 is almost over with!

I am a wife, a mother of three little ones, almost 4 and under! Life is crazy, but I know that I need to be healthy to stay up with it all! The Lord has been my strength, my faithfulness, and my grace through it all!

Hi,

I just finished the Bootcamp challenge and it was very helpful in keeping me accountable for my exercise responsibleness and I did lose weight. I finally broke a long plateau. I am trying the Spring Into Shape Bootcamp to continue the trend.

Hey Everyone, I'm back. I read an article that have given me another spark to go at it again and lose some weight. I've been trying for a life time. I'm finding it a little difficult to stay at it daily, or you can just say it MOTIVATION is low, low. Seems as though I'm overwhelmed. I'm sorry to be negative. Here's positive I'm not giving up!!! emoticon

Hi! Linda from Alabama here. Just finished Day 2's boot camp video, and I'm loving the 10 minute duration. Anything more than that and I'd be in a heap on the floor, I'm so out of condition. Seems like this is a great supplement to our other exercises.

Hi everyone. Starting my 2nd week into the bootcamp. I have been noticing some differences in my body and endurance. I love to run, however my knes and ankles don't always thank me considering I am carrying about 50 extra lbs. I have lost between 15 and 20 lbs since starting this journey I began seriously in January. It has been slow despite the fact that I have been watching what I eat and excercising everyday. I will continue because I think that no matter what I am getting healthier despite what the scale says. I am excited to see what the different excercises will do for me over the next couple of weeks that I have left. Really excited to see the results and glad to have so many along for the trip. GO TEAM!!!!!

Hi everyone! I'm Lacey and I'm pumped to get started with the boot camp! I'm dredging through a little plateau and I want to nip it in the bud before it becomes week after week of disappointing numbers. Best way to do that is CHANGE YOUR ROUTINE! lol. So, I'm here and excited to try some new exercises, drop some lbs, tone up a bit and get to know some of you! Feel free to add me or chat anytime and best of luck to us all!

I guess it's about time I introduced myself, seeing as it is week 2 for me/most of us :)
I'm Molly. I jumped at the opportunity to do this challenge b/c I've been on an 18 month long "sabbatical" from exercise. I was only supposed to be taking a break for a couple months, as 18 months ago I had my 3rd baby. However, motivation was lost, as well as a lot of sleep. So I'm now finally getting tired enough of my sedentary lifestyle & overweight body to do something about it. I'm hoping this challenge will jump-start my healthy lifestyle & active habits so I can get back to my old self again (who was about 30 to 40 lbs lighter/fitter). I just keep telling myself; 1 month, 2 months, & so on, go by so fast! Just think, I could be half way to my goal in 2 months, & I could even be AT my goal by 3.5 months if I work hard enough! I jsut have to commit & work hard. The time will fly by...

Here's to everyone's hard work, progress & goals being met! emoticon
Keep it up!

I struggle with time management too. It's good to have the challenge to motivate me. The biggest hurdle is convincing myself I have the time to work out. And I do! ^__^

Hello everybody, I'm Anne. Got through Week 1 even though my biggest challenges are managing the time daily required and using those darned measuring cups. But I'm committed! Good luck to you all.
