There's a difference between interest and commitment. When you're interested in doing something, you do it only when it's convenient. When you're committed to something, you accept no excuses; only results.
When you get to a plateau, think of it as a landing on the stairway to your goal. And
maintenance is a lifelong plateau, so a bit of "rehearsal" for maintenance isn't the worst thing in the world
Breathe in love & compassion.. Breathe out peace & forgiveness.

GEMSHEART that is a very good way of looking at things. I figure as long as I see inches come down and my weight come down, however slowly, I am making progress. It is my medication that causes my weight gain. Sometimes I fight a losing battle, but at least I am trying. Good luck to you and best of health to you as well.

I'm originally from Cape Breton and now living in Toronto making a living. I have a desk job and my behind proves it...lol

I was a runner but 2019 was all about medical issues so with a bill of health from my doctor and with his permission I am starting all over again. Learning to walk longer than 5 minutes is a shock to my mind and body. I just want to go... but I guess as long as I get moving, no matter the pace, is a good thing.

I'm concerning myself about body fat so the scale won't be so upsetting to see. As long as I see the body fat go down I know I'm on the right path.

It doesn't matter how slow or fast we are. We all win because we moved.
