hi ANGHARAD3! when I first got my rebounder it took me a couple months on the rebounding for seniors before I could move on to the basic. When I moved to the basic dvd I could only do it 3 times a week at first because my calves would be so sore. It was several months before I felt ready to try the advanced workout. the urban rebounding workouts are tough! welcome to the team.

When I bought my Urban Rebounder, I received compilations 1 and 2. I am currently using the Basic Rebounder workout on Compilation 1.

From your post it sounds like you're using a fitness DVD. Do you mind if I ask which one?

That's great that you did the brisk walking first to help yourself get back to where you could rebound more vigorously. Smart!

Thank you to yourself and the team for the warm welcome. I am trying to get back into a regular exercise routine and some healthy habits. Actually, I bought my rebounder about nine years ago. I had a lot of success in the 80's doing a weight circuit interspersed with jumping on a minitramp. I was excited about the rebounder but I was a nursing mother at the time and jumping was really uncomfortable. I lived in a very small house and the rebounder went to the garage. We moved a couple of years later and the rebounder was packed away.

About a month ago, my husband was bugging me about getting rid of some things in the garage and I found the rebounder. I stored it under my bed ( the dust ruffle hides it very well). When attempted to workout, I nearly died. I forgot what a vigorous workout it was. After a couple of weeks of brisk walking, I was able to complete the senior workout and I am now doing the Basic 4-5 days a week.

What a workout! It is short but I when it ends, I feel that I have done quality exercise. It is easy on the joints.The ab workout is the bomb. It also does not take up a lot of space or use a lot of equipment. I feel stronger every day and I hope to be fit enough soon to advance to the intermediate workout.
