Thanks Chefsophie. I've never done anything like this before in terms of a spark team thread but looking forward to chatting with anyone and getting inspiration from each other. A question: I am looking for healthy breakfast options. If I buy oatmeal should I just pick up any oatmeal that I can get in a grocery store. Is it real food? I love oatmeal with real maple syrup. Is that healthy?

Hi I'm emoticon :
I'm new to Sparks and also trying to eat Real Food as a life style. I want to get healthy, find energy and improve my over all lifestyle as I live this second half of my life (I'm 52). I'm trying to get processed foods out of my house and learn how to cook with real foods on a regular basis. I'm not great with exercise but I'm trying. Since entering menopause I have not slept well (5 years) and I almost never have energy. I suffer from GERD (probably due to being 25 lbs or more over weight). So those are my woes but I have a lot of heart, desire and motivation. Thanks for any encouragement and help along the way.
