Hate to hear that you suffered with this at a young age too but glad to know someone who's been there! Thanks for the tips... I'll have to try Leslie Sansone's walking programs! Thanks again and best of luck to you as well!

Hey, Heather! I do understand, unfortunately. I'm 32 now, but my back pain started when I was about 25 or 26, stopped for a bit, came back worse. I have DDD and osteo in my spine and SI trouble too, so yep, I get it! I have found biking and Leslie Sansone's walking programs are good for me since they are low impact. Anyway, welcome and best of luck!

Hey there! My name's Heather and I'll be 25 in Sept 09. I'm married and have one son named Dillon. He's 2 1/2 and so much fun.

After years of pain and months of living on pain medication I found out last year that I have Degenerative Disc Disease, Scoliosis, Sacroillitis, and Osteoarthritis in my spine. I've had multiple rounds of steroid injections into my spine and SI joints. Pain is tolerable now... had my last shots in April and they usually last about 6 months. Orthopedic Surgeon says I will most likely need surgery later in life since I'm so young but I just take it day-by-day. It could always be worse...

I lost 50 lbs last year and slowly gained 15 back. I'm determined to lose that 15 and then some! It's nice to see a group that understands why my exercise regimen is not as tough as it could be for a 24 y/o. Good luck and best wishes to all...
