Hi, I have been doing the IF 16/8 and have lost 47 lbs since January. I've brought my A1C down from 9.9 to 6 but need to get it lower to completely come off the rest of my diabetes med. I seem to have gotten to a slow point, on losing weight, and read about the 5:2 fast and want to try it. I still have 39lbs to lose. I posted asking about people's experience with it and was referred to this team. I'd love to know more about how well it works and the best way to do it. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hello everyone I'm new to this team but not to IF. I have been doing IF for the past 8 months I've finally found something to control my out of control Type 2 Diabetes. My blood sugar levels use to be 350-480 eating the SAD to 168-112 to eating WFPB with fish (2 x) wkly No oil sugar low salt. Went to see my Cardiologist and my Blood Pressure was 131/90 the lowest it's been in years lost 50 lbs and he said if I keep being consistent in the way of IF and Eating Plan I will have reversed Type 2 Diabetes. I'm thinking of doing OMAD still doing doing my research on it.
