Hello, I am new to the team but not really that new to WATP videos. I have done them in the past but of course I quit. :-/ I just found this team and I'm very excited to join in! :)

I recently bought a new WATP video...the ultimate 5 day walk plan. :) I think this will be just what I needed. I had success about 7 years ago with her WATP for abs videos....but unfortunately I didn't stick with my program. I'm hoping to stick to this and that this team will help me carry on towards my ultimate goal of losing 100 pounds.

Hello, my name is Paige and I have just recently started doing WATP dvds and I love them. I used to do Jillian Michaels dvds but I always dreaded doing them because they were so intense. Now I actually can't wait to start a walk with Leslie each day. I might have to walk longer, but I love the high I get from a 3-5 mile walk!!! Also I have been on sparkpeople for about 5 weeks now and have lost 7lbs. and I am down 29lbs officially because I lost some weight before joining. So, excited to be apart of the team!!!

Hi Regina!!! I love to run most of the time. Except when I'm in training. Which is now, but I ran this morning after not running for a week and it was great! You don't really burn as many calories as say with Turbo Kick but it feels great to breathe fresh air and watch the sun come up.
I hope you enjoy being a part of the team!

well exercise is only one tool. eating healthy is just as important so you can concentrate more on that when you can't work out.

Since I am new here I wanted to find alternatives to walking on my treadmill. I have the Walk Away the Pounds 1 mile walk and haven't used it very much. I think I need variety in my walking though so I'm going to incorporate this into my exercise. I will be looking for other dvd's too that may help me even more and give me even more variety. I was reading about some of the dvd's that others have and I'm going to check those out. I look forward to having fun with this.

Hi all I'm new to the group but not Spark. I have been away from Spark since last year but have decided it is time to get serious and do this. I was working through some emotional issues and feel like I am in a place to do this. Leslie DVD's are one of my favorite exercises. Greetings! My name is Mellie. I started walking with Leslie a number of years ago with "Walk the Walk". This past year or 2 I enjoyed "Walk Slim" during the cold months. And recently I picked up "Walk Away Your Waistline" & "Walk Away Your Hips & Thighs" from the clearance aisle. When it is nice out I like to walk my dog emoticon and I enjoy swimming in the summer months emoticon . However, we no longer have a pool and with the heat of the summer moving in emoticon , I am ready to exercise more indoors again and having partners like you will be encouraging. emoticon

Hi, I have plans for myself, big plans. I am trying with all my might to focus and work on my mind and body. As of about 4 hrs ago I have started this journey and cant wait to see where it takes me. I have pretty much let all my training in every area of life fail me but I am trying to take it all back, one step at a time. So nice to meek everyone and if you see me fall, encourage me to get back up and I will do the same to you.

Huzzah all! I have used Leslie workouts since they were on VHS but in recent years haven't been reaching for them much as I am trying to run and workout more outdoors. But got the idea of looking for a team here because recently I found that iTunes is carrying some of her walking music that also has introductions where she walks you through a little workout of her steps and the rest of the recording is just music at a brisk Leslie pace that I can jog a little to and walk a little to and use the guided part as a mild aerobic cooldown or warm-up. May also want to pull out a DVD of hers and reaquaint self! Woot!

I have been on sparkety spark before, the site has meant a lot to me in the pastm most recently under the user name of 3rdGeneration1. Had computer problems and got a NEW one (yay) so deleted previous account for a new start as am having a REALLY hard time losing 20 regained pounds to reach my current goal.

I've been on SP for a few weeks now but am just joining this team. I've used Leslie's workouts off and on for years (the first is a tape titled "Walk Aerobics" by Leslie Tommelleo (1987)). Right now I'm either doing one of her walks or swimming everyday. I'm happy to be on SP. The nutrition and fitness trackers help to keep me going.

Hi I am Elvie, I am new to Walk Away the Pounds. I've had Leslie's DVD's but, never paid much attention. I am commited to doing her Walk Slim DVD I think it's her best one yet. It's challenging but, easy to do at the same time. Look forward to learning more about her DVD's.

Hi, I'm new to the group. I love Leslie Sansone, though I only have 1 VHS of hers. I DO have her book Eat Smart, Walk Strong (though I have misplaced it somehow). I HAVE been walking 3 times a day. Usually 5 miles total per day, 5 days a week, then 1-2 walks on Saturday and 1 walk on Sunday. Weekends are my rest days. I have been overdoing it a little because I developed a blister on my toe (next to the big toe) and I have no clue how to relieve the pain. But I'm still devoted to being healthy and getting fit. The last 150 lbs I need to lose isn't just going to drop off on its own. Anyway, HI GROUP! Let's get fit together!
