Don't "start tomorrow" - start right now! Don't "restart" - just keep going through the ups and downs.

Don't measure your success by the scale - there's too many variables that affect your weighing in.

Don't worry about every day being perfect, or get discouraged when it's not - that's when, not "if."

Look at your weekly averages, not the dailys, and at your progress over the months, even longer.

#1 Advice: ENJOY YOURSELF!

Make changes for your Life as a whole, balancing what's best for your health with what you want.

Pay attention to your feelings!!! If your mindset isn't ready, long term physical success is difficult.

Sneak exercise into the things you love until it becomes habit and you don't even have to think about it anymore. I don't get to turn on my computer until I hit the floor and crank out twenty push ups. Now it is just what happens every morning.

Schedule exercise on your calendar so you will actually show up, whether you are lucky enough to have a dedicated fitness buddy or not (they sure can be hard to find). You really can commit to making time for movement until it is part of your day.

You do not have to like it to start. You do not have to have the right outfit to start. You do not need to have the right body type to start. You do not have to know what to expect to start. You definitely do not have to have the right attitude to start. You just have to start.

It is okay to get mad at exercise, at sweating, at cardio, at being out of breath, at all of it. Do it anyway.
