KALISWALKER, I love Walk it Out.
The great part is you can use a Wii board or not.
You'll find a lot of great tips and help here.
I like to do real stepping, where as my husband today put his walker around the board and just did his heels up and down while I operated the hand controller for him.

This is Lynn. I ordered my Walk It Out and it should be delivered this week. I look forward to learning how to play it and having fun with this team.

My puppy is 10 weeks old and gets me out walking. Also lots of bending down to pick her up, so I may even be developing ab muscles LOL

Hi, my name is Jean. I was on this team a few years back but dropped out of Sparks for a while. I'm back now, might not be able to Walk it Out a lot but ready to start trying again. emoticon

A quick hello. I am leaving for vacation and will have figure out the team later.

This is Lynn from Vancouver, Canada. I love to spend time with friends and try new things.

I have a Wii but never use it, so this will all be new to me!

Hey, there! I am Ruth, married, mother of 2, MIL of 1, and grandma to 4 (one of whom is in heaven). I work for a heating and cooling company as well as for a non-profit ministry, working with low-income folks (or high income but can't budget folks). DH lost his job of 37 years 3 years ago and now works part time delivering food to senior citizens. We both keep pretty busy. My oldest grandson, now in heaven, died of a rare kidney disease before he could get a new kidney. 2 of his 3 brothers have since been diagnosed with the same, although it tested not genetic, and last fall had successful kidney transplants. Yesterday they just returned from a Make a Wish trip for the older one to Disney World. They had a blast and Make a Wish was wonderful.

I am trying to incorporate more variety to my exercise but I sure do love Walk It Out - I have my own mini challenges there and can incorporate these challenges to keep them interesting.

emoticon Hello everyone!

My name is Ronnie and I am a former New England gal (RI & MA) who is currently living in Northeast Ohio (still a Patriots fan though and not giving that up until Brady retires perhaps, LOL). Mother of 3 (son age 25, and two daughters ages 18 and 14; both girls live with their dad). I am married and also stepmom to 4 boys, the youngest of whom just turned 17 last week. Besides my spouse, I also live with a 9 month old puppy, named Chaco (she is a liver colored Brittany Spaniel), and she cracks me up when she tries to copy me when I'm doing certain exercises like plank or some yoga or PiYo poses. She loves to eat bananas and carrots, so I say that she motivates me to eat healthier (we were able to introduce those foods to her while she was young, so maybe that helps).

I have been a member of SP for awhile, but not as active on some of the teams as I would have liked, so I'm definitely thankful that the last group challenge really kept my motivation going.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone a little more. emoticon

Hi I am Patricia,
I am excited to be here! I find that it encourages me to use my Wii and I have gotten to know some wonderful people. I work one full-time and three part-time jobs. Having just received our tax bill I vacillate between saying I should quit one of the jobs to saying I need to work as much as I can. I am the mother of 4 wonderful children, the last which just left the nest. Our pockets might be empty but our hearts are full. We are awaiting the arrival of our first grandchild.

Nice to see so many familiar faces here!

emoticon I'm Mary,

Retired from a paying job the end of June 2015. Take care of our youngest grandson, Cameron, 5 days a week and his sister, Noella, after school. Cameron goes to pre-school Mon to Thurs mornings. I have 5 other grandchildren. Julia, 17 yo, her twin brothers Evan and Ryan, 14 yo, and our sons twins Benjamin and Elisabeth, 14 yo. Cameron will have one more year of pre-school and then will be in school all day when he starts kindergarten so I'm enjoying having him around. My DH is also retired. Hope to begin doing a little bit of traveling soon.
I do most of my exercising on the Wii but go to the Y every Thursday morning and play 2 hours of Pickle Ball. Once Cameron in in school all day I will be able to take some more classes at the Y.

Hi!

Merle here. I'm retired from my full time career and now work part time for SparkPeople. Best job ever!!! My hubby is also retired and we keep busy with our family, pets, friends, etc. I truly don't know how I had time to work full time. LOL I've loved Wii Fit and the ancillary games ever since they came out. I don't use them as much now as I used to; but, still enjoy and like getting back to them for the challenges.

fuzziebear3 here, also known as Paula.

I am 48 yrs old, happily married, no kids, and I live in Dayton, OH. I use sparkpeople to maintain my weight (and maybe lose a little more). My main regular type of exercise is done with the WII, although I occasionally try to run and do a 5K or so. I also love hiking and geocaching. I also like to ride my recumbent bike on the many miles of rails trails that we have near here. I work full time as a computer programmer. I love to travel, but can't do that as much as I would like, since I work!

Every day, every week, and every month is a new chance to make a difference -- in your life, in your self, and in others.
