It's taken me a while to get to join this team but I was intent on not joining it until I officially had just 10 lbs left to lose, and as of today, that's where I am!

I am a serious runner and so am losing the weight primarily for faster running times, and because it's a long-standing goal I've set for myself that I'm finally taking very seriously. Also for looks and health, I will be in the middle of the optimum weight range for my height/frame.

As I am a long-time runner, exercise is not my problem. It has been finding a calorie balance that works for me. I had been using calorie tracking devices and not losing and not knowing why it was not working. The answer was in front of me, they were estimating too high and I was eating too much.

I think I am onto it now and am super motivated to reach my goal. Now I am eating (a bit) less, and substituting some grains/sugars with more fruits and vegetables. I am continuing to exercise 1-2 times a day (first workout is the "main" workout, 2nd is easier or secondary) and strength train via a boot camp/interval style workout twice a week. I should add that I am not working out like this to lose weight, this is just part of my training plan.
